Park in the car parks near the town hall and church in Troncens.
(S/E) Head towards the town hall. To find the path that starts behind the building, push open the door on the left-hand side of the town hall (near the post box). Follow the path downhill until you reach the D286. Turn right and continue to the crossroads.
(1) Turn right, then take a dirt track on the left that runs alongside crops under nets. At the entrance to the woods, go straight ahead, leaving a path on your left. Continue uphill to Chemin de la Serre at a place called l'Oustalet.
(2) Take the road opposite, which turns into a dirt track. Continue to the junction with a gravel path and turn right. Continue to the next junction with the D564.
(3) Turn right and, after about 100 metres, take a dirt track on the left that leads to the lake. Walk along the lake to its end. Find a path on the right that goes up into the woods and leads to the hamlet of Sainte-Alary. Continue to the junction with Chemin de Cap de Bouéou.
(4) Take the path on the left and pass the hamlet of Le Tuco, where the path turns into a dirt track. When you reach a wood on the right, look carefully for the path that branches off to the right and enters the wood, making a hairpin bend. Continue along this path downhill until you reach a tarmac road. Turn left and continue along this road uphill until you reach the next crossroads at the entrance to the hamlet of Quaté.
(5) Turn right and continue to the T-junction. Turn left, pass the hamlet of Le Forgeron and continue to the crossroads.
(6) Turn right onto Chemin de la Haille and continue straight ahead. At La Haille, continue along a dirt track. At the junction of the dirt tracks, turn right and pass in front of the farm buildings.
(7) At the right-angle bend in the road, turn onto a dirt track on the left and continue to the junction with the D224 (Roucan).
(8) Turn right and continue to the next junction. Turn left and continue to the town hall square (S/E).
