(S/E) Start from the village square in front of the café-bar.
Take Rue Nationale, pass through the historic gate and take the path downhill to the right to Chemin de Ronde, then continue straight downhill along Chemin de la Garenne.
(1) At the junction at Bariac, turn left and continue to the junction with the Route de Bassoues (D943).
Turn left and drive carefully up this road, then take a path branching off to the right and continue straight on.
At the wash house, turn right and continue along a small road until you reach a small detached house just before the Moulin de la Salle.
(2) Turn left onto a path that runs alongside the house (this is the Way of St James).
Carry straight on along this path, ignoring the small paths branching off to the right or left.
(3) Pass the first four-way junction and continue straight on. You will take the path on the left on the way back.
(4) Ignore a path on the left (which will be the return route) and continue straight on until the next four-way junction.
(5) Head straight ahead (leaving the Chemin de Saint-Jacques) and walk for about 100 m, then turn left into the meadow uphill and then turn right onto the forest track. Stay on this dirt track until you reach a junction with a tarmac road near the hamlet known as Le Presbytère.
Turn left onto the tarmac road and continue straight on until you reach the area known as Falot.
Look for a path that branches off to the left.
(6) Turn left and take this path downhill to the Chemin de Saint-Jacques at the fork you passed on the way there.
(4) Turn right and go straight on until you reach the crossroads.
(3) Turn right and take the path uphill. Stay on this steep path and turn left at the crossroads before Biradeil. Cross Biradeil and take the tarmac road to the Paypouquet three-way junction.
(7) Turn left and continue to the village to rejoin the main road. Cross it carefully and continue along the streets leading to the village square in front of the bar-café (S/E).
