Park in the Betplan town hall car park, as the church is located on the other side of the D38 road.
(S/E) Take the D286 and leave the town hall on your right. Quickly take a path that climbs up to the left after a house. Follow this path, which climbs through the forest and then continues to the road.
(1) Return to the D286 and follow it to the left for about 300 metres.
(2) Then turn right into a dead-end road. Turn right at the corner of a building and go down a grassy path. Enjoy the view of the Pyrenees on a clear day.
(3) At the bottom of the path, follow a small road to the left. Pass the hamlet of Pédaucat and continue along a path that runs alongside meadows (note an abandoned vineyard on the left). Enter a wood. Ignore a path on the left and continue through the wood.
(4) At the intersection in a small clearing (panoramic view of the Pyrenees), turn right. Descend into the woods and continue between meadows. Once again, the Pyrenees rise up straight ahead on the horizon.
(5) Pass the house of L'Arnau (an old hamlet) and follow the road downhill with a few bends.
(6) At the bottom, at the T-junction, turn left and cross the hamlet of Bourdillou. Stay on this road until you reach the town hall (the small courtyard on the side of the town hall was the old school) and return to the car park where you started (S/E).
