Immerse yourself in history through Melrand’s heritage. This route will take you past manor houses, mills, wells and characterful houses. You’ll also pass by the Oratoire Saint-Laurent, the Chapelle de la Madeleine, the Kerstraquel lake and, of course, the Village de l’An Mil.

Explore the wooded Sarre Valley, a Natura 2000 site, and be amazed by the richness of the local wildlife, including otters and freshwater pearl mussels. This route takes you to the Notre-Dame du Guelhouit Chapel, its ‘scala’, and the Saint-Isidore Calvary, finely carved by the Cadeboche brothers.

This easy route follows the meandering Blavet river along the towpath on the left bank. Along the way, enjoy views of the Castennec escarpments, the Saint-Gildas chapel-hermitage on the other bank and three locks.

The banks of the Blavet are rich in religious heritage.This circuit will take you to Saint-Nicolas des Eaux, its chapel and fountain, before continuing through the countryside to the imposing Saint-Nicodème Chapel and its four majestic fountains.Enjoy a peaceful return trip along the towpath.

A cultural and nature trail where you can admire the Saint-Gildas Chapel, nestled beneath a rock formation, as well as the church and fountain at Bieuzy, both listed as Historic Monuments.

A signposted circular walk starting from the Promenade des Estivants in Saint-Nicolas-des-Eaux. Through woodland and along the banks of the Blavet, discover the cultural and natural heritage of the area around the Saint-Nicolas-des-Eaux meander, the Castennec hill and the Blavet.

This very pretty route revolves around the Blavet valley, starting from Saint-Nicolas des Eaux, and allows you to discover some very interesting natural sites (the banks of the Blavet, Lande du Crano) as well as some remarkable examples of Breton architectural heritage (the semi-troglodytic chapel of Saint-Gildas, the noble houses of Bieuzy, the chapel of Saint-Nicodème, the locks). This walk is fairly well signposted (yellowPR® markings).

This circuit invites you to explore central Brittany, a hilly countryside dotted with cultivated fields, woods and peaceful landscapes. Along the route, you will discover a rich religious heritage: chapels and churches with remarkable architecture, open to the public and accompanied by information panels recounting their history. The route will also take you to the commune of Guémené-sur-Scorff, where you can discover the Bains de la Reine (Queen's Baths), the remains of the Rohan castle, the Maison Limbour and half-timbered houses. This loop also offers superb panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, for an experience that is both cultural and natural.

Crossing the streams and the wild Brandifrout valley, following sunken lanes and forest tracks, this route will take you on a journey of discovery through Bubry’s heritage: villages, chapels, fountains, mills…

A walk that will take you through granite villages, sunken paths and mysterious fountains. You’ll follow largely the same route as the Circuit des Écureuils, passing by the Chapel of Saint-Adrien, the Guervaud Stream, the hamlet of Tréblavet and the Fountain of Saint-Fiacre, before returning to the starting point.

A pleasant little family route, ideal for a leisurely stroll. The route takes you through farmland, past a farm and a small hamlet, and, best of all, offers a lovely walk along the River Blavet. Things to see: a lock, a lock-keeper’s house and peaceful countryside. A route accessible from the stop on the tourist train, the Napoléon Express. Collect postcards along the way using the Bavar[t] app!

A straightforward route that weaves in and out of the narrow railway line, which is still used by a few goods trains carrying plant-based raw materials between Auray and Pontivy. A leisurely return via the towpath. Please note: the walk takes place in the commune of Saint-Barthélémy and not in Melrand, as indicated by the software.

Since it lost its castle, the Rohan stronghold no longer boasts the splendour of yesteryear, but the old houses on its main street are a reminder of its former grandeur.From the Scorff, which winds its way at the foot of the town, the route climbs towards Krénénan Hill after a wide detour via the villages of Ploerdut, before reaching the chapel and its magnificent views.The return journey follows the Scorff valley and the woods that line it.

Following tourist routes, this loop offers superb panoramic views of the countryside of the Pays du Roi Morvan. It invites you on a journey through a rich historical heritage, including a visit to the Bains de la Reine, the remains of the Château des Rohan and the Maison Limbour in Guémené-sur-Scorff. In Kernascléden, step inside the famous Notre-Dame church with its flamboyant Gothic architecture to discover one of the two danse macabre scenes in Brittany. Cross the street to visit the Maison de la Chauve-Souris (Bat House), where you can immerse yourself in the world of this mysterious mammal.Designed to combine leisure and discovery, this loop proposed by Roi Morvan Communauté is suitable for electric bikes (e-bikes) or hybrid bikes (mountain bikes).This loop has some significant elevation changes over long distances, making it more suitable for experienced cyclists.

The Grand Route de Bubry will charm you with its diverse paths and trails lined with embankments. A beautiful day trip through the heart of the countryside with its green landscapes, passing through villages with preserved traditional houses and close to chapels and fountains.

Walk around and through the village of Bubry along sunken paths and through woods. The walk offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and allows you to discover the village's religious heritage, its church and presbytery, the Sainte-Hélène Chapel, its fountain and its wash houses.

Do you like sunken paths? The ones on this route are very interesting and make up a good quarter of the route. So, if you want to walk between two embankments, in the shade of tall trees, head for Bubry. You'll be spoiled. The first hour of walking is rather unremarkable, but the rest of the route is quite exceptional.

This short route takes you along the paths, through the fields and past the ponds around the village of Pluméliau. A peaceful route for the whole family, ideal for a stroll in the countryside. The route is accessible to mountain bikes.
