Car park near the Tourist Office.

(S/E) Leave the car park and turn left along the edge of the Blavet.
Cross the road bridge and follow the road uphill to the left towards La Couarde.
(1) At the first marker post, after a house, turn left onto the small path into the woods. Follow this path along the right bank of the Blavet.
(2) At the end of the bend, near a slightly marshy area, turn right then left and continue to the Écluse de la Couarde.
(3) At the lock, the steep path climbs a few steps and leaves the riverbank. Continue climbing through the woods to reach a road at the entrance to the "Le clos du Blavet" campsite.
Follow the path parallel to the road, which continues through the woods and arrives at the Castenec site near a first viewpoint. Cross the D1(with caution) to reach the second viewpoint.
(4) Cross the D1 again (take care) and head towards a large grassy esplanade with toilets and picnic tables (statue of the Virgin Mary on the left). The fountain is at the back, hidden by a grove of trees. Walk back up alongside the Chapelle de la Trinité. At the road, turn left and then, almost immediately, turn left again at the gable end of a house onto a grassy path (marker on an electricity pole).
At the signposts for several routes, turn right onto a small road that continues as a farm track. At the electricity pole with the yellow sign, turn right and reach the D1, then follow it to the left.
(5) Before the Castennec exit sign, turn right, crossing the D1 again (take care) at a white house, then turn right at the edge of an orchard. Follow this path through the woods, which descends steadily. Leave the path a little further up, at a water hole surrounded by a wooden fence, and turn right through the woods towards the small road nearby (due to a passage found blocked by two hikers in April 2018).
(6) Cross it and continue opposite along a wooded path that runs along the right bank of the Blavet. Pass under a bridge and reach a grassy esplanade with various sculptures and picnic tables.
Cross the road bridge over the Blavet and turn left to return to the starting point (S/E).
Hike completed on 14 April, the day after a rainy day. As a result, the path along the Blavet was very muddy. Therefore, avoid in wet weather.
