(4) Continue to the left, go around the roundabout on the right and continue along Rue de Guémené. You will come to a fork in the road.

(8) Turn right onto the path in the woods and follow it to the village of Kermoran, making a sharp left turn, then another right turn.

(9) Walk along the left-hand side of the D2 road, then carefully turn right onto the path between the low walls. Continue right onto the path that crosses the Brandifrout again, then continue straight ahead and right to the car park (S/E).

Hello,
We do have an 8.2 km route in Bubry, but it is called the Circuit du Brandifrout. You must have misread the name of the hiking route. As for the mileage on Visorando, it is calculated automatically based on the route and may vary depending on the GPS device used. It is therefore not a human error.
I replied politely and asked for additional information so that I could give you a better answer and resolve the embankment issue you mentioned. We don't just put routes on Visorando, we also manage the marking and maintenance of hiking trails. We are hiking professionals who do our utmost, in collaboration with local authorities and hiking associations, to ensure that hikers enjoy high-quality hikes.
We are also here to listen and resolve problems. Thank you for respecting us and our work.
Kind regards,

I have been hiking for six years, I know how to tell the difference between two routes and read trail markings. I never mentioned 5 or 7 km, but rather the route advertised as 8.2 km and the actual distance if you follow the route on Visiorando, which is nearly 10 km. Please review this, even if you don't like to, but to err is human!

Hello,
I'm getting back to you regarding your comments. Perhaps you have confused two routes? The Bourg route and a variant of the Grand Route? In any case, the Bourg route is only 5.7 km long and does not present any major difficulties. If you could provide me with a map of the route you took and mark the location of the collapsed embankment, I will be able to give you a better answer and raise the issue with the local council.
I look forward to hearing from you and thank you for your attention.
Kind regards

Hello,
This route should be reclassified from easy to moderate, as there are many climbs, especially two at the end of the route, which participants found difficult to complete. Furthermore, the distance shown in your app does not correspond to the advertised distance. We did both options: one as a reconnaissance trip, which was about 10 km rather than 8.270 km, and the second with the group, which did not take this detour and was 7.930 km.
In paragraph 1, for the option, there is no yellow signpost on the ground to find the path on the left. The embankment has partially collapsed, which is why there is no mark to find this passage. The display panel at the start clearly marks this detour as an option and not a definitive route, which explains the difference in distance observed during the second passage.
Thank you on behalf of future hikers who may be interested in this route.
