Foug walks

This pleasant circuit crosses the communal forest of Foug from the Savonnières farm.

A lovely walk through vineyards and orchards, with beautiful views of the Lorraine vineyards and the chance to discover typical Lorraine villages and their unique characteristics. No particular difficulty, walking on good paths There are many trails and signposts in this region, but this route does not follow any particular signposting. It is therefore advisable to follow the description and map or GPS route carefully.

Route starting from Gondreville, one of the oldest towns in Lorraine, with beautiful views of the canalised Moselle.

Walk along the circular loops of the Moselle between Villey-le-Sec and Pierre-la-Treiche or the 'cave route'. Start at the Villey-le-Sec dam car park, hike through the woods of Villey-le-Sec and along the old railway line to see the caves. Return on flat ground via the cycle path.

An easy walk from the banks of the majestic Moselle at this point, with views of the Toulois hills and, further away, the Meuse hills and finally the meadows and forests around the loops of the Terrouin.

This lake is a reserve with sensitive natural environments, home to a diverse range of flora and fauna.It is a wild environment except on its northern shore, where there are leisure centres that are very pleasant during the summer months, but don't be put off by the crowds and don't hesitate to pay for parking.

Complete tour of the cliffs overlooking the commune of Messein, following them along the top and at their foot. Beautiful views of the natural evolution of the sedimentary massifs. Caution is advised on the cliff edge.

Easy circular hike starting from the plateau of the avant-garde in Pompey Start from the car park near the acrobatic course. Follow the yellow triangle markings along the entire route.

A lovely walk to discover charming villages along the winding course of the Esch stream.

With the Jubilee Year of Hope, since November 2024, our Catholic Church in the Vosges has developed a proposal: "Saprée Vadrouille, travel journal for paths of hope", with three issues per year focusing on liturgical times and the saints of the Vosges.Several itineraries are proposed in the Vosges as local pilgrimages and paths of hope. This is an opportunity to rediscover our region and our local saints throughout the Vosges department. Each itinerary can be done independently of the others, at any time of year. This trail was marked out by young people from Millery and Autreville-sur-Moselle in July 2013 to enable anyone who wishes to discover it, with signposts and nesting boxes built by the young people to protect certain species of birds. All along the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of the Moselle and the villages of Millery and Autreville-sur-Moselle. If you love nature and listening to birdsong, then this walk is for you.

This historical walk (First World War) winds its way from one battlefield to another. The route runs between two strategic points: Le Xon, occupied by the French on French territory, and Le Froidmont, on German territory following Germany's annexation of Alsace and Moselle in 1870.

The inspiring hill is rich in history and geology and is a geographical landmark in this area known as the Saintois.
