In the old village, park in the small square/stele car park (8 spaces) at the corner of Rue du Moulin and Rue de la Bergerie.
(S/E) To visit the houses of "la Prévôté" and "des Dimes", go up Rue de la Bergerie then Rue du Château des Princes on the right. Turn right onto Rue du Moulin, take the footbridge: view of the 45m wash house.
Turn right onto Rue du Gué, then left onto Rue de la Grève. Cross the Moselle
(1) Turn right, go around the pond, then turn right at the barrier.
(2) Join the towpath and follow it to the right. At the lock, climb the stairs on the right, cross the bridge and descend on your left, then pass under the bridge.
(3) Take the towpath to follow the canal on your right, then leave it shortly afterwards. Cross the Boucles de la Moselle circular car park. At the crossroads (traffic), take the private road to the Kimberley Clark factory (2nd on the left).
(4) Just before the factory gates, take an old road on the left. At the three-way junction, turn left.
(5) Cross the main road. Pass the farm known as "Au Mordant" and, after the small bridge, take a forest path on your right. Follow it to a small pond, where you will rejoin the towpath and follow it to the right.
(6) At the next bridge (about 1 km), leave the towpath and turn left towards Gondreville, crossing the bridge. Take the towpath on the left until you reach the pastures.
(7) Turn right to rejoin the tarmac road and follow it to the left.
(1) Cross the bridge again and continue straight ahead to return to the car park (S/E).
