On the lands of Autry
Walk through the vast meadows between Autry and Condé-les-Autry (some of which are designated as a Natura 2000 site) and discover some of the war’s key events as you pass through the hamlet of La Mare aux Bœufs, which was a strategic point during the Great War.
This trail can also start at the Mare aux Bœufs wash house, where you can choose to take the circular route or just the 5 km of the historical section. This part of the route features historical panels about the Great War.
The Avrogne Bridge from Montcheutin
The Pont d'Avrogne hike offers a variety of landscapes, including open countryside, wooded paths and peaceful rivers. Along the way, you will pass the Calvaire des Fusillés, a witness to local history, before reaching the remarkable confluence of the Aire valley, where you will discover typical riverside landscapes with remarkable wildlife.

The Two Ponds Trail from Termes
The Deux Étangs mountain bike trail is an ideal nature route for sports enthusiasts and thrill-seekers. Mainly set out through the forest, it alternates between fast-flowing paths, technical sections and short climbs that put your legs to the test. A true adventure crossing the entire Croix aux Bois State Forest from north to south, you’ll discover rugged landscapes and numerous small springs.
Fumuy route
A trail in the heart of the Argonne, nestled on the gaize where trees flourish and geological mysteries exist. The route allows you to get closer to and learn more about karst formations called "gouffres" (chasms).

Between Mémoire and Val d'Aire towards Châtel-Chéhéry
Nestled between the Aire Valley and the forest, this route starting from the village of Châtel-Chéhéry and its elegant château will take you to the outskirts of Apremont-sur-Aire to discover a significant memorial site: the German military cemetery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Ariethal Trail
Fancy a walk that combines architectural prowess and forest? The Ariethal trail is for you. From Fléville, venture into an enchanting forest setting to admire the curves of the famous stone giant nestled in its green setting, the Ariethal Viaduct. This route will also invite you to enter the memorial plantation dedicated to the Big Red One, a living, green tribute that links this land to history.
Sentier de la Demoiselle

From Monthois, head to the Source des Dues, which once supplied the whole village.
