Description of the walk

Follow footpath no. 24.

(S/E) From the church in Sivry, walk 150 m to the left towards the last farm in the village, in front of which you should take the path on the left at the foot of the communal fountain. Continue along this path until you reach the junction with the D12.

(1) Turn right and head towards Bayonville. You will reach a large crossroads.

(2) Turn right onto Grande Rue. Pass the church on your right and walk towards the cemetery.

(3) Walk along the right-hand side of the cemetery on the small road towards Chennery.

(4) At the church in Chennery, take the path through the woods on the left.

(5) At the monument and the antenna, take a section of the small departmental road on the right towards Landreville.

(6) Turn right and walk past Landreville Castle until you reach the information panel telling its history, then continue straight ahead along a dirt track to Imécourt.

(7) Go up to the right, pass in front of the town hall and reach a large T-junction where you take the road on the right (D15). Pass in front of the church with its remarkable modern stained glass windows.

(8) On leaving Imécourt, take a path on the left. Follow it until it ends at a wayside cross on the D24.

(9) Carefully follow it to the left to descend to Sivry les Buzancy and its church (S/E).

A lovely walk;
There is just one downside, though Visorando is in no way to blame: the churches are rarely open. But we understand why, given the thefts that have occurred in some places of worship.
