Vallon d'Ubine and Pointe de Lachau
A small, unassuming peak, the Pointe de Lachau offers superb views of the Cornettes de Bise, the highest point in the area, and Mont Chauffé. Dominated by the impressive north face of Mont Chauffé, the Vallon d'Ubine is a beautiful setting and the simple climb to the Col d'Ubine is a lovely walk in itself with young children.
N.B. Route within a protected natural area: see recommendations in the practical information.
Pointe d'Autigny from Ubine
A pretty little summit with extensive views, a short, easy climb in the wild setting of the Vallon d'Ubine with a beautiful view of the north face of Mont Chauffé.
Lake Tavaneuse and Tête du Cheval
A very beautiful lake in a wild setting, with the added bonus of a small peak overlooking it.
Mont de Grange crossing
A loop trail that takes you to the highest point of the Vallée d'Abondance Chablais, offering exceptional views of the Alps. A fairly wild climb up the Montagne de Pertuis, followed by a more conventional descent via the Crête de Coicon.
Caution: near (4), there is a ridge that is a little exposed.
You are in a protected area! See the regulations in the practical information section.
Pointe d'Ardens loop via the Entre Deux Pertuis chalets
A very beautiful loop trail with the ascent of Pointe d'Ardens, which offers a superb panorama of the Vallée d'Abondance, the Chablais peaks, the Dents du Midi and, in the distance, the Mont Blanc massif. This hike is best done early in the morning, when you can encounter marmots and Abondance cows in season.
Pointe de Lens and Pointe des Lanches in a circular from Lac des Plagnes
A circular route to reach two relatively uncrowded peaks in a busy area. The ascent is initially on alpine tracks, then on footpaths. The descent takes you through the Cubourré valley, dotted with large boulders, and ends around Lac des Plagnes.
Pointe d'Ardens
A little-visited summit, rising to the south of the village of Abondance. Beautiful mountain atmosphere at the Chalets d'Ardens, dominated by the north face of the Pointe de la Chavache. Superb 360° panorama from the summit.
The hike offers the most direct route to the summit. For the return trip, there are three circular loops to choose from, which everyone can take or not, depending on the conditions, their fitness level or their inspiration.
Darbon Lake from Fontaine Lake
An original route to reach Lake Darbon. The outward journey takes place in a wilder and less frequented setting than the usual route from the Chalets de Bise, which are crossed on the return journey due to a closed path on the original route. If you wish to avoid them, it is of course possible to return from the lake via the same route as on the outward journey.
N.B. Route within a protected natural area: see recommendations in the practical information.
La Chaux or the Elephant's Head
This superb hike offers beautiful views of Saint-Jean-d'Aulps and the Roc d'Enfer. When the sky is clear, you can admire the majestic Mont Blanc in the distance!
The climb to La Chaux is on a road suitable for vehicles and through woodland. It is continuous, with no flat areas to stop for a break before reaching your destination. It is best to do it in one go! The view opens up as you walk. Finally, you will enjoy a peaceful grassy area in the sun, with even a picnic table! From there, you can enjoy the view of the surrounding peaks: Roc d'Enfer, Mont Blanc, Pic de la Corne and Roc de Tavaneuse.
From Les Onchets to Pointe de la Croix
A superb hike towards Pointe de la Croix. On the agenda: superb views of Roc d'Enfer, Mont Blanc, the Dents du Midi, the Cornettes de Bise, Mont de Grange, Dent d'Oche, Pic de la Corne... It's a summit that has to be earned.

Cornettes de Bise from Bise
One of the most beautiful hikes in the Chablais! A long and demanding route, where you walk in sumptuous surroundings. From the summit, the highest in the region along with the neighbouring Mont de Grange (2,432 m), there is a superb panorama of Lake Geneva, the Chablais peaks, the Swiss Alps and the Mont Blanc massif.
N.B. Route within a protected natural area: see recommendations in the practical information section.
