A pleasant, fairly short hike in relatively wild countryside with exceptional views (Jura, Lake Geneva basin, Chablais massif).

A superb walk facing the long barrier of the Rochers des Fiz (or Chaîne des Fiz – Massif de Platé, Haut Giffre), in an exceptional setting with a section of the route running alongside the Souay torrent. When the sun is shining, the reflections of Lake Pormenaz are truly beautiful.

A superb hike starting from the Chalets de Bise, to discover Lake Darbon, a little gem nestled among the rocks. ⚠️ This route crosses the protected natural area of the Cornettes de Bise. To avoid disturbing the wildlife and preserve its habitat, please respect the regulations in force (see practical information). ANYONE WHO FAILS TO DO SO WILL BE FINED.

Starting from Pas de l’Échelle, a lovely route that ends at the upper station of the Salève cable car, passing through the Vallon de Monnetier, the Bûcherons trail, the top of the Petite Gorge and the summit plateau. A hike featuring some very exposed sections, reserved for those with absolutely no fear of heights, and requiring the utmost caution.

Lovely loop at the end of the Grand Balcon Nord, Chamonix valley.

A pleasant walk starting from La Croisette, with a loop route at the top of Salève, on a short section of the "Balcon du Léman". The Salève des Pitons (or Pitons) is not the most spectacular part of Mont Salève, but it nevertheless offers exceptional views (the Franco-Genevan basin, the Jura mountain range, the Geneva harbour/Petit-lac, the Vaud and Valais Alps, the Arve Valley, the Chablais, the Mont Blanc range, the Bornes, the Aravis, etc.).

A very scenic hike in the Annecy region, taking you to the northern tip of the Dents de Lanfon, set in unspoilt countryside and exceptional scenery. From the summit, there are superb views, particularly of Lake Annecy, the Tête à Turpin and the Grandes Lanches (Dent du Cruet).Please note: a helmet is recommended due to the risk of rockfalls.

Close to Montagne de Sous-Dîne, a lovely route through magnificent scenery. Nature is dressed in its finest and offers us a symphony of autumnal colours. The route between Col de Landron and Col de l’Enclave takes you through a superb, fairly wild environment and an explosion of colours in the trees.

A lovely getaway in the Bauges mountains, with a round trip to the Pointe de Banc Plat (one of the two main peaks of the Montagne du Charbon). Although not very high, the Pointe de Banc Plat offers a remarkable panoramic view (the Montagne du Charbon is the northern part of the Trelod chain). The forest trail at the foot of the Montagne du Charbon is splendid.

A pleasant little walk starting from the Maison du Salève car park, above Pomier, with a section on the Petites Croix trail, to Les Convers. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash.

A pleasant snowshoe hike in the Plaines Joux area of the Chablais massif.

A magnificent snowshoe hike in the heart of the Vallée Verte. The cold (-14°C at the start!), the snow and the sumptuous landscapes were all there.

A lovely snowshoe hike starting from Praz de Lys. Superb panoramic views (Lake Geneva, Chablais, Mont Blanc, Aravis, Bornes/Bargy...).

Between showers, with temperatures rather cool for what was supposed to be spring, we enjoyed a short walk in familiar surroundings, but the route was as enchanting as ever.

A lovely walk in the Giffre valley, starting from the immense glacial amphitheatre known as the Fer à Cheval, to reach the Fond de la Combe, with magnificent waterfalls, particularly in spring; the flora and fauna are also impressive. Moderator's note, following a comment from a user on 17 June 2023. The footbridge at Fond de la Combe is temporarily closed by municipal order and if you want to go to Bout du Monde, you should cross to the right bank of the Giffre at the Prazon chalet. The loop indicated here is therefore not currently possible.

A very beautiful hike starting from Le Lignon in a magnificent setting (Passy - Haut-Giffre nature reserve). Depending on the season in which you do this hike, take into account the crossing of several snowfields (very late in 2013) and numerous streams that "cut" the path.

An extraordinary hike that almost forms a loop, starting from the Châtelet car park; a complete change of scenery guaranteed in an exceptional environment (Passy and Sixt nature reserves; Platé desert). You will need two vehicles.

In the "Grandes Classiques" collection, a hike starting from the Chalets de la Balme, a route taking the Pas de la Truie, a path along the side of the rock face to reach Pointe de Sous-Dîne, then a route along the summit ridge of the Soudine (or Sous-Dîne) chain to reach the authentic summit of Montagne de Sous-Dîne. Return via the Col du Câble.

A circular trail, ideal for discovering the different facets of the Petit Salève. As this part of the Salève is quite busy, set off early in the morning or avoid weekends.

A very pretty snowshoe hike from Les Hauts de Puze to the Plateau de Cenise. There are superb views throughout the route.

A lovely hike above La Blonnière, with the Parmelan cliffs as a backdrop; superb view from the Pertuis ridge overlooking the slopes above Grand Bois to the west.

A very scenic hike starting from the car park at the Chalet Refuge de Cenise. After crossing a scree slope near the Arête de Chevry, a cliff section near the Pointe de Sosay, a stretch through a mountain pasture running along the foot of the Aiguilles Vertes, and then an ascent to the Col du Rasoir. You then follow the Arête du Rasoir to the start of the Cravatte before returning to the pass to descend via the Aiguilles Vertes. Superb views

A lovely walk starting from the car park downstream from Lake Montriond. Follow the path along the lake shore and through the forest to reach the superb Ardent waterfall. The surroundings are magnificent. As the site is very popular, it is best to start the walk early in the day.

A superb hike in the Giffre Valley, much of which is in the Sixt Passy nature reserve, with exceptional scenery and breathtaking views.

A lovely "lasso loop" hike in the Brevon Valley, starting from Pont de la Joux. The trail is accessible all year round.

A very pretty walk for everyone in an enchanting setting. The waterfall, made up of several cascades, flows into a multitude of naturally carved rock pools at a place called La Diomaz. At the foot of the waterfall is the Croix des Chartreux, engraved in the rock.

A beautiful circular route, starting right next to the Col de Joux Plane. The Pointe d’Angolon and the ridge walk leading to it offer exceptional panoramic views.

A very beautiful hike starting from Col de la Colombière. Aerial passages, mineral scenery and breathtaking views are just some of the highlights of the route.

A lovely circular hike starting from the Col de la Colombière, mainly on grassy terrain (the name of this peak refers to the time it takes to climb it). This hike offers superb views of the Bornes and Aravis mountain ranges. There may be flocks of sheep and patous (Swiss mountain dogs) present.

A lovely walk starting from Flaine, with no particular difficulty, featuring a pleasant route through the sharp limestone pavement and a section along the cliff edge.
