The villages of Vernines
A loop on the Plateau de Dôme, starting from Vernines and passing through several hamlets where the inhabitants have preserved the traditional way of life, with fountains, wash houses, blacksmith's forges and communal ovens. A few sections on small roads at the end of the route, which are very quiet and offer unobstructed views of the Chaîne des Puys.

A circular starting from Lac de Servières takes you to the ridges, where you will have magnificent views of Lac de Guéry, La Banne d'Ordanche and the Sancy ridges. The climb is gentle on a forest road and the descent follows theGR®30trail, where walking poles will come in handy.
Around Notre-Dame-des-Fers
Walk around one of the most beautiful Romanesque churches in Auvergne. In addition to the basilica, you will discover a pretty hamlet, Saint-Martin-de-Tours, a rocking stone, and also, on the heights, a magnificent panorama of the Chaîne des Puys and the Massif du Sancy.

From Pessade to Orcival
Starting from Pessade, the route follows theGR®441andGR®30trails, taking you past Lac de Servière, a volcanic lake, and ending in Orcival with its magnificent Romanesque basilica built between 1146 and 1178.
La Narse and Le Labadeau
On either side of Saulzet-le-Froid, discover the valleys of the Narse to the north and the Labadeau to the south, two streams that converge shortly afterwards to form the Veyre. Climb to the top of Puy de Monténard for a panoramic view of the Labadeau valley and descend into the Narse d'Espinasse, a small marsh with an exceptional biotope.

Le Puy de la Combegrasse and La Narse d'Espinasse

At the top, you will have beautiful views of the Chaîne des Puys and the Massif du Sancy, and orientation tables to help you find your way around. Further on, the Nasse d'Espinasse is a maar that has become a small peat bog, home to remarkable flora and fauna.
Le Puy de l'Enfer and Le Puy de Monténard
Between these two small puys in the south of the Chaîne des Dômes, two streams flow, the Narse and the Labadeau, which converge shortly afterwards to form the Veyre. Shortly before this confluence, the Narse feeds a small marsh of volcanic origin, the Narse d'Espinasse.
Puy d'Ébert circular
Short circular route starting from the pretty hamlet of Saint-Martin-de-Tours. Le Puy d'Ébert is a volcanic cone that rises 500 m above Rochefort-Montagne. It is a very small puy, but it offers beautiful views of the Chaîne des Puys.
Gorce Valley and Pourcharet Tower via Recoleine
This hike offers varied landscapes, as the first part takes place on the plateau, criss-crossed by small rivers such as the Gorce, while the second part allows you to venture between the puys of the Chaîne. There are unobstructed views over much of the route. Recoleine is a hamlet of Nébouzat; both villages have preserved their ancient architectural heritage.
Espinasse and Monténard, two volcanic destinies
A circular route to discover two very different volcanic craters: the Narse d'Espinasse, a marshy maar on the slopes of the Puy de l'Enfer, and the more classic crater of the Puy de Monténard.

A circular route mainly through forest, with the sound of numerous streams flowing into the valley. The route passes at the foot of the two iconic "sentinels" of Le Guéry, although you can't really see them because they are hidden by the forest. It is not until you reach the hamlet of Cros that a surprising landscape is revealed.
