The Daronne Valley via Saint-Sorny
Take advantage of this beautiful little walk to discover the Daronne valley, with its meanders, gorges and interpretive trail. If you wish, you can extend the walk by returning to the Saint-Sorny footbridge.
The Daronne Gorges
A beautiful hike entirely on paths in the Daronne Gorges. A pretty, very wild spot not far from Tournon and the Rhône Valley. A local must-see. What's more, this route is not the "classic" route and is therefore a little wilder...

The Gorges de la Daronne and the Clauzel Dam
A discovery from Deyras of the wild valleys of the Jointine, the Daronne and the Doux to the Clauzel Dam.
The Daronne Gorges, loop from Deyras
A lovely walk through the woods in Ardèche, near Saint-Félicien, with two descents into the Daronne gorges, following part of the nature trail through this natural site. You can visit the hamlet of Saint-Sorny. On the way back, there are beautiful views of the Alps, weather permitting.
The heights of Boucieu-le-Roi, north side
A beautiful hike through the forests above Boucieu-le-Roi in northern Ardèche.
What's more, this charming village is a stop on the Ardèche train (Mastrou) and/or rail bike route. A visit to the village is therefore recommended.
This hike can be shortened, as it consists of two circular loops that return to the village.

Discover the hillside vineyards of Tain-l'Hermitage (Hermitage) and Tournon sur Rhône (Saint-Joseph). Beautiful panoramic views of the vineyards and the Rhône valley. You can enhance your walk with a stop at one of the many wine producers or a chocolate tasting at Llanas in Tournon or the Valrhôna shop in Tain. For culture, visit the Palué Museum in Tain and the Château Museum in Tournon.
Saint-Joseph wine trail, detours through the vineyards
The northern Côtes du Rhône wine region has a strong identity and a remarkable landscape characterised by steep hillsides. It is a land of great wines, renowned throughout the world. Building on this wine-growing asset, the Rhône Crussol Community of Communes and the Arche Agglo Urban Community have joined forces with professionals from the Côtes du Rhône appellation to develop a tourism promotion project. This has resulted in the creation of five discovery trails for the Cornas, Crozes-Hermitage, Hermitage, Saint Joseph and Saint Péray AOCs.

Vineyards and wild valley south of Tournon-sur-Rhône
Hike south of Tournon, climbing up a wild, wooded valley. The descent is easier, with a final circular loop through the vineyards. This hike has three circular routes, so you can adjust the route to suit your preferences.

Grands Bois and Terre Noire in Vion
The hike is mainly in the woods, on pleasant paths. You will be in the shade in summer and sheltered from the north wind (Mistral) if it blows (frequent in the region).
Wild descent to Vion, with a few views of the Rhône valley. The last two kilometres are easy, on the plain, through the orchards of the Rhône valley.

Saint-Romain-de-Lerps - Le Pic - Combes - Beauliac
A short, gentle walk around Saint-Romain-de-Lerps, mostly on the GR®420 trail, which takes you from the Belvédère du Pic (with an extraordinary 360° view) to the Col de Gazareau, passing through the hamlets of Combes and Beauliac.
Beautiful views around Saint-Romain-de-Lerps
A lovely hike offering beautiful views of the Rhône Valley, the Alps and the Ardèche. A 15-minute drive from Valence, this hike leads you around the beautiful surroundings of this small village. Note that Saint-Romain-de-Lerps is one of the classic walks in the area, because there is a beautiful lookout point with a chapel, 2 orientation tables and a picnic area alongside.
The island of La Roche-de-Glun
This hike, which is not technically difficult, allows you to admire the Bassin des Musards Bird Sanctuary and the village of La Roche De Glun.
From Érôme to the Croix de Romans
The route skirts the Rhône valley through valleys, streams and orchards. A very pleasant corner of the Drôme.
The Pic de Saint-Romain-de-Lerps and Glun from Châteaubourg
Pending an alternative, this hike, which passes through private property between (11) and (12), is currently prohibited.
Starting from Châteaubourg, you will cross the appellation vineyards to reach the Pic de Saint-Romain-de-Lerps, where you will have a 360° view of the Monts d'Ardèche and the Rhône Valley, with the Vercors and the Alps in the background. The orientation table will show you all this.
Loop between Châteaubourg and Signac
A lovely walk on the heights of Châteaubourg, with stunning views over the Rhône Valley and the hillsides of Saint-Joseph. Unfortunately, the end of the walk is on tarmac (very little traffic).
Les Roches qui dansent via the Serves viewpoint, starting from Érôme.
From the Puy de Serves viewpoint, you will have a breathtaking view of the Rhône valley. At Les Roches qui dansent, you will be able to admire a unique geological feature.
Le Creux du Renard
Parcours sans difficulté sur de petits sentiers tranquilles autour des villages de Larnage et Crozes-Hermitage. Passage près de l'ancienne carrière de kaolin encore exploitée il y a quelques années et abandonnée maintenant. Ce kaolin servait à la fabrication de porcelaine et les déchets étaient étalés sur les chemins de terre en guise de goudron.
Vallon d'Ardennes and the Tower of Arras in Arras-sur-Rhône
Hike near the Rhône, to the north of Ardèche. You will be surprised to find areas that are this "wild" so close to the Rhône Valley (Ardennes). At the end, the view of the Rhône and the Arras tower is a definite plus.
From Saint-Jeure-d'Ay to Chantelermuse in a circular route

Starting from the Eygas plateau in Cornas, we climb to Saint-Romain-de-Lerps with a magnificent view of the Rhône valley and, in good weather, from Mont Ventoux to Mont Blanc via the Vercors and the Ecrins.Along the route, you’ll pass the chapels of Saint-Pierre and Le Pic, as well as a host of small hamlets. La Roche Percée des Arlettes, starting from Cornas
This walk is a variation on the Cornas la Borne route. The first section offers a lovely walk above the Cornas vineyards, returning via familiar paths between (6) and (12) on the other route. The second variation involves the descent to the village of Cornas.
