The Chapel of Tresques and the Château de Boussargues
This hike, which is a little long but not particularly difficult, in the hills above Bagnols-sur-Cèze will take you along some of the paths to Santiago de Compostela (marked with shells). You will pass by the Saint-Martin de Jussan Chapel in Tresques and the Templar Chapel on the Boussargues estate.
The terrain is varied: tracks, woodland paths and small roads.
From Saint-Michel-d'Euzet to La Roque-sur-Cèze
Hike from the village of Saint-Michel-d'Euzet that takes you on a loop around the village of La Roque-sur-Cèze (ranked among the most beautiful villages in France).
The village of La Roque is perched on a rocky outcrop and is bordered by the Cèze. The area is a natural site for swimming; near the village are the Cascades de Sautadet falls.

The Chapel of Saint-Pierre de Castres in Bagnols-sur-Cèze
A pleasant short walk with a slight incline. The Saint-Pierre Chapel is still in good condition but closed. Beautiful views of the valley.
From Bastide d'Engras to Saint-Laurent-la-Vernède in the ochres
A very pretty, varied walk with no particular difficulties. A few short detours will allow you to discover the castle, 15th-century barris, wash house, etc. Not to mention the moving Harry Potter-esque cemetery at the Saint-Jean Chapel and the imposing Coucouvèze dolmen. All this amid the ochre colours that line much of the route. Some parts of the route follow tarmac roads, but these are relatively short and, above all, they are very small roads with hardly any traffic.
Oppidum Saint-Vincent and Saint-Saturnin Chapel
A route in the Gard Rhodanien region for the whole family, on paths accessible to all. Alternatively, it is possible to take a shortcut via the path directly connecting points (3) and (7), reducing the length of the route to 10 km.
A loop starting from Goudargues
Easy loop from the hamlet of La Bastide d'Orniols in the commune of Goudargues in the Gard. Heath, pine forest, chapels, drystone shelters, stone houses.

Lacau Plateau and Caesar's Camp
A very beautiful, mostly flat trail through holm oak trees, alternating between shaded passages and panoramic views of the surrounding plains and hills. A visit to Caesar's Camp will add a touch of history to the end of the trail.

La Cabre d'Or from Orsan
This is a short, easy hike that is very varied and informative, allowing you to visit the pretty village of Orsan, the hillsides of the Lacau plateau, explore the ancient town of Camp de César, enjoy a magnificent view of the Rhône valley, and above all, pass through the narrow Passage du Loup, where the famous golden goat is said to have once left a little of its blood and golden fleece on the rock walls.
