Start from the Berret tennis court car park.
(S/E) Return to the path where you’ll find the hiking sign and the entrance to the shooting range. Continue towards La Combe Romani for 200 m until you reach thefirst junction.
(1) Turn left, passing under a narrow, very shady passage. Follow this path, between wasteland and vineyards, to the barrier on the DFCI track. Turn right and follow this track to the water tank.
(2) Go past it and head straight on along the path where there is a large stone on the left, then turn left onto a path marked in yellow, red and white. You will reach the Combe des Trois Platanes junction.
(3) Continue straight on and, at the three-way junction where there is a clump of juniper, turn right (south-west) until you reach the next crossroads.
(4) Carry on to the left along the wider, slightly rougher path. At the next junction, turn right and keep to the right. Walk along the cliff edge, which offers stunning views of Laudun and the Tave valley. As you leave the cliff edge, you’ll see a small V-shaped holm oak ahead of you.
(5) Turn right, until you reach the next three-way junction.
(6) At the signpost marking the fork in the path, turn left and return to the cliff, where there are a few slightly more challenging sections.
(7) At the gate, continue to the right until you reach a meadow and see, on your left, the Chapel of Saint-Pierre de Castres.
(8) Then continue along a slightly stony path. At the end, turn left onto the path leading downhill and you’ll find yourself back at the gate you passed earlier.
(7) Take the path on the right leading downhill and follow it, keeping to the right throughout.
(9) At the sign for Les Dessus de Mambos (alt. 230 m), turn right onto a fairly narrow and rocky path. You can also walk along the edge of the vineyard.
(10) Continue to the right until you reach the vineyard, then follow it along the right-hand side as far as the Saint-Pierre farm.

(11) Carry on straight ahead along a small sandy path and, at the junction, turn left. At the gate, turn right and follow the road back to the starting junction.
(1) Turn left and, following the route in reverse, return to the tennis court car park (S/E).
