In the hamlet of Le Colombier, park near the wash house next to the church and the fountain.
(S/E) Turn right onto Rue des Jardins du Colombier, then turn left onto Chemin de la Coste.
(1) Turn right onto this path until you reach the car scrapyard.
(2) Turn right, heading due north, where two donkeys may watch you pass, and go past a beautiful property on the edge of the vineyards. You’ll come to a Fork in the road.
(3) Leave the path on your left (which will be your return route) and, 20 metres further up, turn right to reach the village of Combe.
(4) After visiting the hamlet of La Combe, retrace your steps to the previous fork.
(3) Turn right towards Sabran: be careful, the sign is broken and the direction is no longer visible. Continue through beautiful woodland until you reach a road.
(5) Turn left onto the road, where there is a magnificent view of the Alps, and continue to the gate of a private property.
(6) Turn left (signposted ‘Colombier’) and follow the wire fence; at the first three-way junction, turn left for a lovely descent through the holm oaks to the scrapyard.
(2) Retrace your steps along the route you took on the way there until you reach the car park (S/E).
