A peaceful walk through the forest around Le Morgonnet, with the option of heading up to the summit. This route is suitable for everyone and offers beautiful views from the summit of Le Morgonnet. The Cabane du Jas is a peaceful spot for a picnic break.

A lovely circular walk through the woodland to explore the rocky outcrops and, at the same time, a brief visit to the Villard Dolmen, with access to the outcrops via an ancient path long since forgotten.

Continuing towards Baie Saint-Michel, you will be charmed by the sun's reflections on the water and the breathtaking view of the Chapelle Saint-Michel, a jewel set on its own little island. The return via the Curattes viewpoint is the highlight of this route. This spectacular viewpoint offers an unforgettable panorama, where the intense blue of the lake contrasts with the green hills and alpine peaks. This spot is also a perfect vantage point for admiring the Durance valley. An experience that will delight young and old alike and remain etched in your memory.

This walk begins in the shade of a forest along a stream. It continues along the hillside with superb views of Lake Serre-Ponçon. It descends gently along the forest track. You can admire roures (very old oak trees) as well as many other species of trees from the region and colourful flora.

There are several routes leading to the Cirque de Morgon. The ones I’ve taken so far are the paths starting from the Fontaine de l’Ours and the Grand Clos. This one is the steepest and most challenging. However, it offers a huge advantage when it’s hot: it’s completely shaded by the trees. On the other hand, the ground is uneven and slippery, and there’s a ladder which might put off those who are afraid of heights.

Starting from the beach at Saint-Vincent-les-Forts (800m), this route will take you to the village of Saint-Vincent-les-Forts and then back down via Lautaret, the second largest hamlet in the commune. This hike, with its sumptuous views of Lake Serre-Ponçon, is suitable for average walkers.

A family walk suitable for children aged 10 and over, exploring two abandoned hamlets and two tunnels. The trail offers several views of the Ubaye branch of Lake Serre-Ponçon. Games and challenges, hidden inside tubes, are dotted along the route as part of the Sens’action activities. The route also passes through unspoilt natural areas classified as Natura 2000 sites.
