The first part of the route follows the old Alençon–Condé-sur-Huisne railway line, which has been converted into a greenway and now forms part of the Paris–Le Mont Saint-Michel cycle route.
You will then reach Bellême mainly via some very beautiful natural paths and very short stretches of tarmac.
