Start from the square in front of the Comtesse de Ségur Museum in Aube.
(S/E) Leave the museum square via Route de Brethel (D298) and take Rue de la Fourlière towards the stadium on the left. At the next junction, continue right onto Rue de Bel Air, which becomes a track. Continue until you reach a road.
(1) Turn right onto the road running alongside the dual carriageway. When you reach the D298, turn left, go under the bridge and turn left onto the tarmac track leading to the hamlet of Les Aumônes. This track becomes grassy; follow it straight on until you reach a road.
(2) Turn left and, after 150m, turn left onto a dirt track which you follow straight on until you reach a road.
(3) Follow this to the right, then continue straight on along the dirt track. Turn onto thesecond track on the right, which passes in front of La Petite Clémendière.
(4) Turn left onto the D278 for 100m and turn right to follow a track that passes under the dual carriageway and leads to the hamlet of Les Aucherets.
(5) Turn left, pass in front of the Château des Nouettes and arrive at the D278. Walk along the sports ground on your right and head down to the Route de Paris.
(6) Follow it to the right for 200m, cross over and turn into Rue de la Gare. After a few metres, take thefirst left, towards Grande Forge. Pass in front of the museum and follow the sandy path that runs alongside the lake.
(7) At the park exit, turn left onto the D671, then cross the Route de Paris and head for the museum car park (S/E).
