Pellegrue walks

In the heart of the Entre-deux-Mers region, you are now in the bastide town of Pellegrue, founded in the 13th century on a rocky outcrop. During your walk, you will pass through woods and hillsides now planted with vines.

This village and its monastery date back to the Middle Ages. It was probably founded by monks attracted by the presence of a fountain. In this wine-growing commune, you will enjoy a very pleasant walk through rolling countryside.

The commune, through which the Ruisseau du Courbut flows, is made up of two plateaux that slope down towards the Dordogne. You can enjoy a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere, surrounded by the magnificent surrounding countryside of vineyards and forests.

As you walk along this route, keep your eyes open! Around a bend in the path or beyond a fence, you will discover traces of the past: wells, dovecotes and mills. You may also meet winegrowers who will tell you about their passion and offer you a taste of their wines.

From Lac de la Cadie, wind your way through vineyards towards the hills and the picturesque village of Pujols, where you can discover its castle, church and heritage.
