(S/E) Start from the canoe club and pass under the Pessac-sur-Dordogne bridge (heading north-east).
(1) At the three-way junction, take the path that descends to the left and runs alongside the river (check access as the river level varies depending on the season; otherwise, continue along the road and then the white path and rejoin the route by turning left at the first path you come to). After 1 km, you will come to Manoir de la Bernéde (a former tollhouse on the Dordogne), which is currently undergoing renovation: follow the detour shown on the map as this is private property.
(2) At the road, continue straight ahead for 800 metres, then take the dirt track that continues on.
(3) Take a detour to the left to reach the wild beach of Sablat. After a break, continue along the path towards Château de Ribebon on the riverbank. Pass in front of the château and join the D130.
(4) Cross the road, then turn right, heading west into the field and towards the marked EDF pole. The entrance to the path at the top of the embankment is not very visible and is directly opposite the EDF pole (about 15 metres away). Turn right and head west along this shaded path on the hillside (not shown on the IGN map) and continue for about 400 metres. At the three-way junction, continue straight ahead.
(5) At the crossroads, turn left, but not onto the path that goes uphill. Take the path below it and walk along the vineyards, following the curve to the right (west). You will find the path opposite in the woods (mountain bike sign and large cut tree on this path). Continue to the right of the house to reach the hamlet of La Corrégie (westbound).
(6) At the road, turn right (no entry) and continue along the road for 300 m between the houses.
(7) At the next crossroads, at a place called Blanchou, turn left and continue for 200 m along the road.
(8) At the bend, take the white path opposite.
(1) Continue along the quays of Pessac-sur-Dordogne for approximately 1.8 km (S/E).
