The Mills Route in Eynesse

The route is suitable for everyone, from novice walkers to families, thanks to its length and accessibility in all weathers.
This route offers panoramic views of the Dordogne and the hillsides covered in vineyards and woodland. Three mills line the route, demonstrating that the region was not only a wine-growing area but also a long-standing centre for cereal farming. Two windmills, one of which has been partially restored, stand on the heights of Eynesse amidst the vineyards.

A lovely walk through vineyards, but there is no shade and quite a few uphill and downhill sections.

There is little shade. In summer, make sure you take adequate sun protection. A very easy and pleasant walk.
