Parking in the village centre, opposite the town hall.
(S/E) Head towards the village shop, and at the foot of it, you’ll find the first sign for the walk. Continue along the path which descends straight ahead on a gentle slope.
(1) At the end of the path, take a track to the right without following the tarmac road. About fifty metres further on, turn right again onto a second track that runs alongside the field on its right. Then continue to the right of the copse, then straight on through the undergrowth to the Soulège and the small stone bridge.
(2) Do not cross; continue straight on along the Soulège. When you reach the field, follow the path to the right along the field, then take the track that climbs up to a small hamlet. Continue straight on, then turn left onto the tarmac road.
(3) At the bridge, leave the Moulin d'Andreau on your right and continue along the tarmac road "Route de la Bastonnie, D128" for about 600 m, then turn onto the grassy path on the right.
(4) Take the road on the right at the cross in the village. At the junction, go straight on and, 50 m after the sign for the tile works, take the path on the left to reach the hamlet of La Materinette.
(5) Turn right along the hedge, just before the houses begin. A little further on, turn left to head back down into the woods. Caution: the slope is steep and the ground can be slippery in wet weather. After the descent, take the path on the right. Continue straight on through the undergrowth, then turn right again. Continue straight on for a good while, then turn left onto the tarmac road. A little further on, a path branches off along the vineyards on your right.
(6) Take this and go straight on. At the end of the path, turn left, then right at the end of the row of vines. Go straight on, past a farm building, and back onto the road.
(7) At the junction, take the road on the right. Continue straight on to the hamlet of Les Gourds.
(8) In the hamlet, take the path that continues to your left before the cross: here you cross the Bois des Dames walking route. Head straight on between the houses and the vineyards, then into the woods and, on emerging, you’ll reach a hamlet.
(9) Take the road on the left, then turn onto the first path on the right. Continue straight on. At the end of the vineyards, turn right and follow the stream. At the Fork in the road, do not cross but continue to your right, then straight on up a slight incline.
(10) At the top of the climb, take the path on the left. Cross a road: on your right is the old Taillade windmill. Follow the path in front of you, which then joins the main road. Continue straight on to the village and the car park (S/E).
