The walk starts at the town hall square in Saint-Avit-de-Soulège at a place called "J'y vois clair".
(S/E) Continue straight ahead between the vineyards for 280 metres.
(1) At a place called Rauly, at the marker, continue straight ahead for 175 metres. You will arrive at the tree of liberty, which was planted in 1848 on Place du 8 Mai. At the marker, continue straight ahead, reach a place called Gros œil and continue straight ahead. Then follow a descent from where you can enjoy a superb panorama.
(2) Turn left and continue straight ahead into the Soulège valley on a tarmac road. You are now in the woods. After 100 metres, continue straight ahead and take a dirt track alongside a house.
Turn left at the signpost, following the Soulège stream. You are now between woods and vineyards. Turn right at the signpost, continuing to follow the stream, and pass in front of a tomb.
(3) Turn right at the signpost between the tomb and the Soulège stream, then continue straight ahead along the Soulège and the vineyards on the other side.
At the signpost, turn right into the undergrowth: admire "La Soulège". After 150 metres, return to the original dirt track. Enter the Moulin de Moustelat estate. Turn right, continuing to follow the Soulège.
At the marker, continue straight ahead into the undergrowth. Then, 150 metres further on, cross a small bridge over the stream to reach the 18th-century Moustelat watermill on the other side, in the commune of Pessac-sur-Dordogne. Continue straight ahead, still following the same stream.
(4) At the signpost, continue straight ahead. Then do the same at the second signpost, staying on the path to your left as you climb. Next, return to a path that passes through the woods and continue straight ahead. After about 400 metres, you will come to a crossroads where you go straight ahead. Then follow an uphill path. After this climb, at a place called Pierrousselle and at the signpost, continue straight ahead. You are now on the border between the communes of Saint-Avit-de-Soulège and Saint-Quentin-de-Caplong in the vineyards. After 100 metres, rejoin a tarmac road and continue straight ahead.
At the signpost, continue straight ahead on a grassy path, leaving the tarmac road.
(5) At the second signpost, turn left and take the tarmac road. Return to Saint-Avit-de-Soulège and leave the commune of Saint-Quentin-de-Caplong. You will arrive at a place called Dignac, where you can enjoy a superb panorama. At the signposts, continue straight ahead and then, after the small cemetery, turn right at a place called Gas.
Turn left at Vircoulon and continue straight ahead on a tarmac road.
(6) At the signpost, turn left at Migouterie. Turn left at the signpost and continue straight ahead. At the signpost, leave the tarmac road and take the grassy path on the right. At the signpost, go straight ahead: you are at J'y vois clair. 110 metres further on, turn right and continue straight ahead to your starting point, the Town Hall car park (S/E).
