Aulnay-sur-Mauldre - Velannes - La Villeneuve loop
This route follows part ofthe GR®26 trailon the plateau above the Mauldre.
Épône heritage and Mézières-sur-Seine wash houses
During this walk, you will discover the heritage of Épône, the birthplace of the Fifth Republic, and also set off in search of the wash houses of Mézières through fields, woods and hamlets.
The Bois du Domaine and the Ru de la Rouase
Starting from the village of Bazemont, rich in heritage, this is a forest loop for a good half of the route, with passages between fields and along the streams that drain them.
Épône loop to Guerville via the wash houses
A walk that is half rural, half woodland, allowing you to visit 11 wash houses scattered throughout the region's pretty villages, of various styles and constructions, most of them decorated with flowers, some of which are quite complex in design and/or large in size, offering clear, refreshing running water (although not drinkable), which is much appreciated when temperatures soar above 30°C. Two viewpoints over Mantes-la-Jolie and its collegiate church, and the chimneys of the Porcheville power station, which are often in view.
Maule heritage and walk along the Mauldre
After exploring Maule and its heritage, you will climb through the woods and walk through the countryside to reach Aulnay-sur-Mauldre. From there, you will follow the Mauldre and its recent meanders back to the starting point.
Élisabethville, Paris Beach of the 1920s
This walk will first take you on a journey of discovery through the heritage of this district of Aubergenville and Épône, an avant-garde holiday resort created in the 1920s. On the way back, you will walk along the Mauldre and Giboin rivers to reach the "beach".

The slopes of Montcient from Juziers
Circular route from Juziers station, alternating between farmland and forests. Several interesting churches (unfortunately often closed), beautiful wash houses, a fountain with its statue still intact. And of course, the beautiful covered walkway of the Mare aux Fées, which is well worth a detour.
Heritage of Juziers, Mézy-sur-Seine, Hardricourt and the banks of the Seine
During this varied, hilly hike, you will discover three small villages as you stroll along narrow streets and paths. You will walk along a few hillside and woodland trails, discover beautiful viewpoints and stroll along the Seine on your return.
From Mareil-sur-Mauldre station to Poissy station, via Orgeval
A fairly easy walk from station to station, the first part of which is through woodland where you can admire superb specimens of various species of deciduous trees, particularly beeches and oaks, which are certainly over a hundred years old. You also pass close to the Alluets-le-Roi telecommunications centre and its many antennas of all types.The second part, which is more varied, includes a visit to the ruins of Abbecourt Abbey and the centres of the villages of Orgeval and Villennes-sur-Seine with their churches. The walk ends with a pleasant stroll along the banks of the Seine.

A hilly route from village to village, with views of Paris and La Défense.
Guerville and its 8 wash houses
This varied and very hilly route is dotted with wash houses. There are numerous springs around Guerville. Here and there, the route offers beautiful views.
Banks of the Seine from Les Mureaux to Conflans-Ste-Honorine via the Bois de l'Hautil
The walk begins with a very varied section of the GRP® "Impressionist Seine" trail, starting with the imposing ESA Ariane rocket factory and its loading dock, a charming marina, the Val de Seine leisure island, and several large ponds. It continues with Triel-sur-Seine, its pleasant Parc Senet, and its Église St-Martin with its complex architecture. The crossing of the Bois d'Hautil via easy but unspoilt paths is worth the detour for its chestnut forests dotted with a few beautiful oak trees and pierced by a large number of chasms resulting from the collapse of underground quarries. The walk ends peacefully as you admire the confluence of the Oise and the Seine.
Around Thoiry
This hike is recommended when the paths are too muddy.
This route goes around Thoiry Wildlife Park. It mainly follows quiet, small tarmac roads, for seasons when the paths are almost impassable.

Hike through the fields and woods near Oinville-sur-Montcient. There are a few hills during this walk.
From Meulan to Triel, from station to station
A lovely walk along the banks of the Seine, passing through pretty villages such as Evecquemont. The starting point and finishing point are two stations on the same SNCF line.

A hike that alternates between forest and fields, with a small pond that is ideal for a pleasant break.
La Cave aux Fées and the Côteaux de la Montcient
In the southern French Vexin region, this circuit takes you through fields and woods, playing leapfrog with the River Montcient. The Cave aux Fées, a covered passage dating from 2500 BC, bears witness to ancient human occupation. A dovecote, an old water mill and several wash houses are also worth seeing.
Moulin Brûlé and Bois des Cailloux
At the southern edge of the French Vexin, a loop that starts along the Montcient river, with the old Moulin Brûlé, and then alternates between ascents and descents in the woods or between fields.
Loop around Brueil-en-Vexin
Starting from the charming village of Brueil en Vexin, you will pass La Cave aux Fées, a Neolithic burial site dating from around 2000 BCE. Then, through a varied, hilly landscape, you will discover a few hamlets and a village with its wash house and old bridge.
The slopes of the Mauldre
A hike on the slopes of both banks of the Mauldre, a tributary of the Seine between the Plaine de Versailles and the Mantois. The route, consisting of two loops, alternates between residential areas, forests and fields. A rich heritage, partly linked to water, can be discovered along the way: an old fortified castle, old mills, a siphon bridge, farm buildings, a church, etc.
In the footsteps of the Battle of Vexin
This walk retraces the Battle of Vexin at the end of August 1944 thanks to the numerous explanatory panels placed along the route.
From the Seine to Follainville-Dennemont via Limay
This hike will take you from the islands of Mantes-la-Jolie to Follainville-Dennemont via Limay (gateway town to the French Vexin Regional Nature Park). You will walk along the Seine and then through woods and fields. You will discover beautiful views, particularly of Mantes and its collegiate church.
Loop between Beynes and Saulx-Marchais
This circular hike in the Beynes forest takes you past several underground gas storage sites. You will then cross the village of Saulx-Marchais, passing by its old church and town hall before crossing the fields to reach Neauphle-le-Vieux and the Mauldre river.
