The hike starts from the Saint-Vincent car park at the end of Allée du Verger.
(S/E) Opposite the stadium, turn right and then left to walk along the Mauldre river on your right. Cross a small bridge that will take you to the cinema car park. Cross it to the left to reach Chaussée Saint-Vincent. First turn left then right onto Allée des Carnousties, which runs behind the mini-market, then turn right and cross the Mauldre river. Take the first alley on the left, Impasse des Billettes, and continue left onto Rue des Pressoirs. At the T-junction, turn left and then take the second right onto Rue Traversière.
(1) At Rue d'Orléans, turn right and then immediately left onto Rue de Mareil. Then take the first right, Boulevard Saint-Jacques, until you reach a T-junction where you turn left. Enter the cemetery through the first gate and go up to the right to the chapel. Exit through the gate opposite the chapel and continue left for a few metres.
(2) Turn right onto a path. Ignore the side roads until you reach Route de Thoiry (D45), where you will turn right. Continue along Rue d'Orléans and cross the crossroads.
(3) Turn left onto Rue des Maréchaux. At a fork, take Rue du Buat on the left and cross Boulevard des Fossés. Further on, at the large crossroads with a central island with trees and a memorial on the right-hand side, leave the road and take the first path on the right.
(4) A few metres further on, take the right-hand path, which continues into a street. At the four-way junction, turn right into Rue du Clos Noyon, which runs alongside the school, then left for a few metres into Boulevard des Fossés. Turn right into Rue Saint-Nicolas, then at the T-junction, turn left towards the church.
(5) Cross the roundabout and take Rue du Plat d'Étain. Continue left onto Rue Saint-Vincent. Further on, go under a porch on the left to take Sente au Loup. Then turn right onto Boulevard des Fossés, cross a crossroads and ignore a street on the right.
(6) Turn right onto Rue du Chemin Vert. At the T-junction, turn left and then left again onto Rue Émile Réaux. Cross the street and go up thePR® trail opposite.
(7) At the fork, continue to the right (yellow marker) and, further on at the edge of the forest, turn right onto the PR®.
(8) At the next fork, turn right at the edge of the forest and ignore all the side paths, continuing to follow the yellow markings until you reach some houses.
(9) Go down to the right, then leave thePR® and continue to the right along Chemin de Mantes. Go through a gate, pass a turn-off on the right and continue to Rue de Maule. Take a sharp left turn in this street, then ignore the turn-offs on the right. At the end, turn right to reach Aulnay Church.
(10) Turn right again and ignore a dead end on the left. Just before the bridge, take a path on the right (marked with a Parc Communal sign) that follows the Mauldre. Further on, ignore a bridge on the left, pass a water treatment plant, then turn right onto the path at a small bridge on your left. Take the first path on the left, the Sente de la Voirie.
(11) At the end of the path, turn left to cross the Mauldre and immediately turn right onto the path that runs alongside the river and its recent meanders until you reach the Saint-Vincent car park (S/E).
