Tour of the Véronne and Malsaucy ponds
This lovely, easy walk with very little elevation gain is accessible to all and allows you to discover the beautiful landscapes of ponds, woods and meadows, where you will find the two vast ponds of Malsaucy and Véronne, as well as the Maison Départementale de l'Environnement (Departmental Environment Centre) and its remarkable exhibitions.

Circular route around Frahier-et-Chatebier

Belfort - Fesches-le-Châtel
This hike is the first of two stages linking the end of the Vosges crossing in Belfort to the start of the Grande Traversée du Jura (or GTJ on maps), located at the start of Mandeure. This hike is very cultural, starting in the historic town of Belfort. The first part takes you past three forts: Belfort, Basses Perches and Bosmont. The hike is never very far from urban areas and it is even possible to get there by TGV as the high-speed train passes through. It is a hike that alternates between woods, agricultural plains and villages of varying sizes, including Bourogne and its charming wash houses. The end of the hike is the most pleasant part of the route, crossing the dry grasslands of Bourogne and walking along the Rhône-Rhine Canal.
Circular of the Miotte, Justices and Citadel forts in Belfort
Circular in short version with limited elevation changes, the fortifications overlooking the old town of Belfort passing by the Tour de la Miotte, the Porte du Vallon then the Fort de la Justice and its dovecote, the top of the Glacis, the national cemetery, then the Citadel Tower and passage at the foot of the Lion before crossing the Brisach Gate, all enhanced by magnificent views of the city, its monuments and its surroundings.

Giromagny - Belfort
This stage is the last of the Club Vosgien's red rectangle trail through the Vosges. This stage is classified as moderate as there is virtually no elevation gain. Most of the hike takes place under forest cover. The stage starts in the small town of Giromagny and ends in the beautiful city of Belfort, passing by Bartholdi's Lion, a must-see photo spot for those completing the Vosges crossing!

This hike will take you to the entrance of old silver and copper mines dating back to the 16th century, when the village of Giromagny surpassed Belfort in population.

Circular forest above Auxelles Haut
The hike begins with a forgotten path that deserves to be preserved. Access to the Querty grassland is very regular in a magnificent forest. Climb towards La Planche des Belles Filles then descend to Auxelles via the superb panorama of Mont Ménard.
Route des Perches
This route passes by Fort des Basses Perches, which is part of the fortified belt around Belfort.
An easy hike with superb views of Belfort, the Haute Saône and the Vosges mountains.

Planche des Belles Filles
This day-long hike combines the best of the hikes already offered in this area, including the mines, the Belles Filles pond, Le Querty, the summit of La Planche, the shelter and statue of the Virgin Mary at Mont Ménard, and memorial sites (steles and monuments).
Memorial trail in Auxelles-Haut
The heritage of the Chemin de la Mémoire, in conjunction with the Association du Souvenir Français.
You will find monuments, steles and explanatory panels commemorating the sacrifice of the resistance fighters in 1944.
You will discover a wide variety of landscapes: the village of Auxelles-Haut, the forest, the Querty stubble field, the Planche des Belles Filles resort and a superb view of the Haute-Saône mountains, the Vosges, the Jura and the Alps.

Circular from Planche des Belles Filles and Chaume du Querty from Auxelles-Haut
This beautiful walk will take you from the charming village of Auxelles-Haut to the summit of the Planche des Belles Filles. You will cross the vast moorland of Mont Ménard with its statue of the Virgin Mary, protector of the village, and the thatched roof of the Querty. Several beautiful viewpoints punctuate a walk offering beautiful forest scenery.
The Champagney Canal
Discover part of the Champagney Canal, which was started in 1884 and abandoned in 1909.
Le Bosmont
The aim of the walk is to discover the historical and natural features of the Bosmont Forest and the forestry operations managed by the Office Nationale des Forêts (ONF).
You will be able to see the marks left by the work carried out between 1874 and 1880, after the Franco-Prussian War.
The Belfort-Réchésy railway line through the forest is also still visible.

Circular loop via the Étang de l'Autruche and the Faré
This family walk, starting from the Château Lesmann car park in Roppe, will take you to the distinctive Y-shaped Étang de l'Autruche lake and then to the Faré,the first line of defence of Fort de Roppe. Enjoy magnificent views of the Vosges mountains from Planche des Belles Filles to Grand Ballon. Finally, you will pass by the Maie farm and then near old gypsum mines (or holes), with views of the Jura and the Alps on a clear day, before returning to the starting point.
La Diaichotte route in Chagey
This short country walk takes you through the village of Chagey with its temple, church and war memorial to the 1870-71 war: the Diaichotte. During the walk, you will discover a rolling landscape with crops, livestock and a beautiful forest. You will also discover the Virgin Mary of the Geais and, next to it, a menhir or Pierre de Saint-Desle.

Fort du Mont Vaudois trail near Héricourt
Hike in the Héricourt area. You can explore the Fort du Mont Vaudois and its defences. You will descend the inclined plane that was used to build the fort.
You will continue through an unusual landscape of old abandoned orchards along the Bois du Mont Vaudois with some very pretty views.

Circular between Étueffont and Grosmagny

From the Ferme du Mont Jean to the Col du Chantoiseau
This hike begins on the western flank of Mont Jean, through a forest interspersed with clearings offering magnificent views of the Savoureuse valley and the surrounding peaks. It reaches its peak at the Col du Chantoiseau, a haven of peace at the crossroads, at the foot of the Tremontkopf, which offers a view of the Riervescemont valley and its hills.

Goutte des Saules circular loop
This beautiful circular route will take you to the magnificent Rahin Waterfalls, a torrent that winds through the trees and rocks of the Saint-Antoine Forest. Most of the route is through the woods. You can visit the Saint-Antoine Cave and the viewpoint of the same name.
Brevilliers dolmen
A short, easy country walk for the whole family with views of the Lomont wind turbines, the Chasseral massif in Switzerland (on a clear day) and a visit to the Brevilliers dolmen.
La Roche Renard circular
This is a moderate hike on a path that crosses a magnificent Vosges forest. Between the trees towards the Col du Chantoiseau, there is a view of the Swiss Jura. Experienced hikers can take a detour from the Chantoiseau to Tremonkopf for a 360° view. The descent from Chantoiseau reveals a view of Planche des Belles Filles and Ballon d'Alsace. The end of the route crosses the pretty village of Planche le Prêtre.

This hike allows you to discover two military structures, Fort Ordener and Ouvrage de Meroux.

Hike from Bermont (car park in the central square) or Dorans (Maison du Temps Libre).
By car, take motorway exit 11 towards Delle, then follow signs for Belfort via the R437 and then Bermont.

On the heights of Lamadeleine-Val-des-Anges
In the hills above Lamadeleine-Val-des-Anges, starting from one of the smallest and most picturesque villages in the Belfort area, you will climb the Baerenkopf to the legendary refuge of the same name.

Schlumpf and Baerenkopf ridges from Lamadeleine-Val-des-Anges
Starting from the small village of Lamadeleine-Val-des-Anges at the bottom of the Madeleine river valley, there is a pleasant climb through the forest to the Lochberg Pass via the Sept Chemins and Chat passes. From the Col du Lochberg, a circular route will allow us to discover the stubble fields and ridges of the Schlumpf with beautiful views of the upper Doller valley and the nearby peaks, as well as its magnificent log shelters (Sommerseite, Graber) before returning to the pass via the Fennematt and the Source de la Doller. Return to the starting point via the summit of Baerenkopf, Haquin and Trou du Loup.
From Meroux to Charmois through the forest
A circular route starting from Meroux, crossing the wetlands before heading up to the heights of Charmois and through the woods of Meroux.
The path is stony for much of the route. Mainly flat, no difficulty.
