Park in the car park at the Malsaucy Water Sports and Leisure Centre.
The route is marked with a blue disc.
(S/E) From the viewpoint on the Véronne, take the street on the left that leads to the Malsaucy dyke. Follow it to the lake inn.
(1) Turn right onto Rue de la Base Nautique, which becomes Rue du Vers further on. Continue straight ahead until you reach the small ponds.
(2) The path enters the woods. Cross two wetlands on pontoons (on the right, a short detour leads to a viewpoint overlooking Malsaucy).
(3) At the junction with the path, turn left and, at the exit of the woods after the barrier, turn left again to cross the railway line. Continue straight ahead. You will reach the community hall on Rue des Taillis.
(4) Turn right onto the dirt track, go down the valley, then back up and continue straight ahead on the tarmac road.
(5) Turn right twice to cross the bridge over the railway line.
(6) Turn right onto Rue de la Chapelle Sous Chaux and follow this road. At the edge of the woods, pass between the ponds, leave a path on your left and arrive at a place called Les Boulets.
(7) Turn right onto Rue de la Libération (East). After 100 metres, turn right onto Rue de Bellevue. At the next crossroads, turn right and then continue straight ahead.
(8) At the corner of Étang Ludwig, continue straight ahead. Walk along Étang de la Courbe Chaussée on your left, then Étang de la Véronne on your right.
(9) Turn right at the observatory and continue along the Étang de la Véronne. Just before the cycle path, turn right to reach the car park (A/D).
