Worth a visit
There is plenty to see here; the villages listed above are all well worth a visit.
If the itinerary allows, it is essential to take the boat from Girolata to visit the Scandola Nature Reserve (you can book a small boat tour at the port).
The famous Roman road linking Ota to Evisa, which will be covered in more detail during the Col de Vergio stage.
The sheepfolds still in use (Radule, for example).
The bridges spanning the various watercourses.
And Monte Cinto, often visible along this route.
