Park in the car parks at the Bonifatu Forest site.
(S/E) Head to the back of the car park, follow the sign for "passerelle" (footbridge) which leads into the forest and descend to the Figarella river.
(1) Cross the bridge and turn left until you reach the first intersection with the Ficaghjola circular (blue trail).
(2) Continue left, following the red markings.
Pass a few rocky sections at the beginning, then follow a mixed trail. After a long initial climb ending with steeper sections, you will reach the viewpoint overlooking the valley.
(3) Continue along the red-marked path to begin the final switchbacks leading to the pass, the summit of the circular.
(4) Leave the path leading tothe GR®20on your left (connection time approx. 2 hours) and continue straight ahead, downhill, following the signs indicating the rest of the circular to reach the junction with the Ficaghjola circular (blue route).
(5) Turn right, following the red markings through the forest, downhill on a beautiful, slightly rocky path to the intersection with the Ficaghjola circular (blue trail).
(2) Turn left, cross the footbridge again (you can stop for a swim in the river).
(1) Take the same route back to the car park where you started (S/E).
