The steepness is very gradual on the first part of the walk, allowing you to reach the summit of Mont Saint-Romain without any particular difficulty. On the return journey, the slopes are steeper, but never unmanageable. A perfect walk for those who want a good outing but don't want to put too much strain on their legs.
