Departure from the car park at the post office in Chiroubles.
(S/E) At the car park exit, turn right onto the road. At the next intersection, continue straight ahead on the small road. Once you have crossed the hamlet of Les Bonnes, descend until you reach the D86 departmental road.
(1) Cross the D86 carefully, keeping to the right, then leave it on the left to continue downhill. Follow this small road, passing a first road on the left, then two houses. After a steeper descent, take the road on the left after the small villa. Continue on this new small road until you reach a small hamlet. After the houses, turn right.
(2) Continue downhill and turn left at the next junction. Once you have passed Raousset Castle, turn right. When you reach a fork, follow the road furthest to the left. Continue uphill until you reach the junction with the D119 departmental road.
(3) Cross the road carefully and climb up the path opposite, through the vineyards. Once you reach the tarmac section, turn right. Pass the first road on your left and turn left at the second intersection. The road then becomes a track. Turn right after a few dozen metres and you will reach a road a little further on.
(4) Turn onto the road on your left. Cross a small intersection and continue straight ahead. Follow the road for a few hundred metres and turn right, north-east, onto a path as the road begins to slope upwards. Continue along the path until you reach a hamlet. Pass the first houses on your left and continue to the intersection.
(5) Take the road on the right to descend, turn left at the next intersection and reach a new intersection at a place called Les Raclets.
(6) Turn left onto the road and continue straight ahead until you reach a place called La Presle. Continue straight ahead at the intersection, then turn right onto the first path that climbs through the vineyards. Follow the S-shaped path through the vineyards to reach the road. Turn left and after a few metres, turn right towards the Chapelle de la Madone.
(7) Pass in front of the chapel and continue on the path that veers to the left. Follow the path through the vineyards to reach a small road near a house. Take the road on the right to the D32 departmental road.
(8) Turn left onto the D32, then after a few metres turn left onto thefirst path. Follow this path up through the vineyards, then turn left when you reach the gravel path. Follow this path to the next intersection at Col des Labourons.
(9) At the pass intersection, continue straight ahead (to the right of the picnic area). Follow the forest path to the next intersection.
(10) Continue straight ahead, still on the main forest path, passing several paths on the right. After passing another picnic area, you will arrive at a place called Le Petit Durbize.
(11) At this new intersection, take the path that descends to the left. The path descends through woods, then through vineyards. Follow it until you reach the D86 departmental road.
(12) Continue straight ahead, crossing a first intersection and turning left at the fork. Follow this small road to the cemetery. Continue downhill to the centre of the village to return to your starting point (S/E).
