Right from the start, this walk offers beautiful views of the woods of Bonnières-sur-Seine. As you pass through Rolleboise, you’ll be treated to a succession of superb panoramic views of the Seine and the Ilon basin. Near Méricourt, you’ll see the lock and other views of the river, then at Freneuse, you’ll discover views of the Seine cliffs on the opposite bank.

This route is quite pleasant, even though it is mainly on roads. In fact, more than 9 km of the 13.5 km route is on tarmac.
Along the way, you will pass three churches, some beautiful views overlooking the Saint-Ouen stream valley, and several wash houses that remind us that in times not so long ago, laundry was still done by hand!
