Through the hamlets of Breuilpont

The departure point is the car park of the tourist train station located on Rue Saint-Exupéry.

(S/E) Facing the railway line, turn right then left to cross it. Turn left onto Rue Alfred de Musset towards Lorey.

(1) Immediately turn left onto a path that runs alongside the old railway line on your left and the Étang du Lac Madic lake on your right. Continue along the path between the Étang du Lac la Triouzoune and Étang du Lac Guéry lakes until you reach a level crossing, which you should cross.

(2) At the triangular crossroads, continue left along Chemin du Moulin. At the next crossroads, turn right onto Chemin de la Chapelle.

(3) Take a short detour to the left onto Chemin du Gué (opposite no. 8) to see a charming spot on the banks of the Eure.

(3) On your return, continue left towards the chapel, pass in front of the castle and cross Chemin des Vignes further on. Ignore a turning on the right and pass between two ponds.

(4) At a T-junction, make a short first turn right then left to pass under a small railway bridge. At the end of the path, continue straight ahead into Rue Alfred de Musset and walk alongside Stade Achille Gouery.

(1) Continue on to cross the railway line again on the right, taking Rue Alfred de Vigny. Cross the D 836 at the pedestrian crossing and continue to the cemetery. Walk along the left-hand side of the cemetery towards Villiers-en-Désœuvre, staying on the wider right-hand side of the road.

(5) After about 350 metres, turn right and then immediately left onto a path that runs alongside the road. At the T-junction, turn left and cross the D 58 with caution. Follow this path along the edge of the forest until you reach a fork (the right-hand fork is not shown on the map). Cross the Ru de Chanu and continue to the left until you reach Saint-Chéron. Cross the road opposite the chapel and turn right for a few metres.

(6) Turn left behind the chapel, pass by a wash house and then turn left onto Rue de la Mare Guérin.

(7) After leaving Saint-Chéron, turn onto the first path on the left, which runs alongside two houses on the left-hand side.

(8) Turn left onto a path between two hedges, then right onto Allée des Sycomores. At the end of this road, turn right onto another path. At the T-junction, turn left, cross the road and ignore the paths on either side to reach the houses.

(9) Head left and continue straight ahead until you reach the D 836.

(10) Cross at the pedestrian crossing and turn right, then left into Rue du Mont Vallet. Ignore three turnings on the right.

(11) Turn right onto Impasse de la Planchette, then turn left to follow a branch of the Eure river. At the T-junction, turn right, then left to return to the tourist train station car park (S/E).
