(S/E) Opposite the station, turn right and then left after about ten metres onto Rue Édouard Isambard. Just after crossing the railway bridge, turn left to see the statue of Aristide Briand. Retrace your steps and cross Rue Isambard at the pedestrian crossing, then turn right.
(1) Quickly turn left onto Rue du Champ de Foire. At the end of this street, turn right and at the fork that immediately follows, continue left onto Rue de Breuilpont. Leave Rue Guespin on your left. At the end, turn left onto Rue de Pacel, then ignore all the side streets.
(2) Turn left onto Rue des Moulins (there is a sign for Parking Île des Moulins). Cross the car park and go over a small bridge to reach Île des Moulins. Walk around this beautiful little park. Back at the car park, turn left to go under a porch and arrive at Rue Édouard Isambard, which you will cross. Turn left and walk to the bridge to enjoy the view. Retrace your steps, staying on the same pavement, and turn left at the first street, Rue Aristide Briand. Walk alongside the church.
(3) At the crossroads, turn left onto Rue Dupont de l'Eure towards Étang Taron (signposted Plan d'eau). At the end, go through a wooden gate and follow the path that runs alongside the Eure on your left.
(4) After about 950 metres, turn right onto a path lined with poplar trees until you reach a water treatment plant. Continue right onto a small road. At a left-hand bend, leave the tarmac road and continue straight ahead on a path after passing through a barrier.
(5) A few metres further on, turn left and then immediately right to go around the pond on your left in an anti-clockwise direction.
(5) Exit by turning right. Go through the barrier again and head right. Turn right onto Rue du Camping, then ignore a street on the right and continue straight ahead onto Rue du 8 Mai 1945.
(6) At the bend, continue straight ahead along a footpath, cross a branch of the Eure river and turn left. At the end, turn right onto Rue Pasteur. Cross the crossroads.
(7) Opposite the École Les Hérons school, at a roundabout, take the second right onto Rue de Normandie and continue to Rue Lucile Riquier. Then turn left. At the next roundabout, opposite the cemetery, turn right and continue for a few metres, then turn right onto Rue de Gaillon (marked by a cross). Cross two intersections, which will take you straight to Place des Déportés, then continue to the right along Rue Dufay (yellow and red marker). Walk along Place L. Bazeil.
(8) At the junction with Rue Édouard Isambard, first turn right then left to cross Place René Tomasini towards the town hall. Continue left onto Place Dufay (Cultural Centre) then left again onto Rue du Château. Cross Rue Édouard Isambard and turn right. At the roundabout, cross in two stages: first left onto Rue du Carquois, then right onto Avenue du Général de Gaulle. Take Avenue des Poilus and you will arrive at Place de la Gare and the finish line (S/E).
