The Tour des Clues de Verdaches

A beautiful hike with no particular difficulties through the mountain pastures to reach the Col des Cloches. You can continue to the summit of one of the bells.
Shorter version of a previously published hike: Les Cloches de Barbes and summit of Chine via Le Forest
Les Cloches de Barles and the summit of Chine via the Forest
Les Cloches de Barles is no piece of cake to climb! Reaching the summit is like climbing to the top of a layer cake: you have to work up a sweat to earn your cherry. But once you're up there, it's a feast for the eyes. And to get back down, hop, a little bucolic stroll in picture-postcard style, between the Cabane des Prés and the Sommet de Chine, with dancing flowers and smiling meadows. In short, a real fairy tale hiking experience!
Paturage and Barres de Chine
The Monges massif, a place to discover. A festive welcome from the marmots (with a bit of luck, one that lives in the old Chinese hut). A 360° view of all the massifs of the Alpes de Hautes Provence: Estrop, Cloches de Barles, Cheval Blanc.
Clapouse pastures - Authon
Second stage of the two-day trip to the Montagne des Monges.
Vieil Esclangon and view of the Velodrome

Around the Lame de Facibelle
There are some beautiful landscapes around the region's unique geological formations, particularly the distinctive Lame de Facibelle, an impressive "slice" of rock. The route is marked in yellow.

Chabanon - Tête Grosse - Le Bressa
A magnificent mountain hike where forests, alpine pastures, rocky ridges and a 360° panorama come together.
Superb photo opportunities, especially in autumn with the rust-coloured leaves.
The route includes some dizzying passages and three steep climbs on rocky ground that can be unstable at times.
A hike steeped in nature and serenity in a mountain world apart.
Tour of the Roche des Brigands from Auribeau
A lovely, fairly easy walk in the Hautes Duyes.
Ichthyosaur Geological Site
This easy hike takes you to a fossil of an ichthyosaur, a large marine reptile measuring over 4 m and dating back 183 million years. The trail runs along a fairly cool ravine before climbing up a slope covered with downy oak and beech trees to the Col du Jas. The archaeological site is located 200 m after the pass.
Col de l'Escuichière
A short circular walk takes you to the art shelter at the Col de l' Escuichière from the Bléone valley.
The summit above the pass offers impressive views of the Bès valley.
Crête de Géruen
The view from the summit is spectacular, with a 360° panorama where only the Monges mountains hide the Oisans. You can see south all the way to the Basse-Provence, passing by the Lure mountain, Mont Ventoux, Dévoluy with the Pic de Bure, the Blanche valley near Digne, and more.
Contrast between the Mediterranean climb facing south and the colder ridge.
