Park in the car park at the Chabanon resort, opposite the ticket offices.

(S/E) Head towards the Hôtel Le Blanchon.

(1) Turn left onto the path below, in the forest, signposted for the Valentin Forest walk, and you’ll come to a Fork in the road.

(2) Turn left towards Saint-Martin-lès-Seyne and follow the forest track to its end at La Casse.

(3) Turn left towards Chabanon through the Valentin Forest. Continue straight on to return to the starting point (S/E).

Two walkers aged 77 and 74 … A walk I’d recommend for a gentle return to walking. It’s best to follow the route in the direction shown on the Visorando map (downhill then uphill). Forest track all the way. A pleasant spot for a snack at “La Casse”.
