Discover the paths and small country roads starting from the hamlet of La Fosse. You will follow and cross the Lawe several times. You can admire magnificent willow trees, gigantic in the middle of their pastures. Several information panels on the history of the area line the route: Pont Riqueult, cemetery, park, village centre, along the Lawe, Pont de la Fosse. Take the time to read them.

The two rivers trail from Fouquières-lès-Béthune to Fouquereuil takes you along the Blanche to the Annezin marsh, then along the Lawe before walking above the water under a railway line! This route will take you to the Fouquereuil storage slag heap (the Terril de la Cuisse Maraune) where you can enjoy a superb 360° panorama from the top. The return journey is through the fields.

A lovely, easy hike through the woods, discovering a beautiful lake and sumptuous views of the St. Lawrence River.

More of a stroll than a hike, this short trail is particularly entertaining for children. A place to discover birdlife with a view of numerous small islands. At the right time of year, whales can be seen. The second part at the Old Quay takes you to see dinosaur statues, tributes to the strength and generosity of the pioneers, and the obelisk symbolising volunteerism.

Set off to explore the confluence of the Amédée River and the St. Lawrence River. The Amédée River ends with some interesting rapids and joins the St. Lawrence River in an impressive curved descent. The trail will then take you to Île du Colon. A porcupine was encountered on the trail: don't worry, this somewhat clumsy animal is not dangerous and will run away from you.For the less adventurous, turn back and take the trail in the opposite direction. For the more adventurous, take the path on the right that leads into the forest. This is the route we recommend. Keep your eyes peeled, as the trail is not well-trodden and you will need to follow the small markers on the trees.

Come and explore Tadoussac from top to bottom. Tadoussac is a small seaside resort with plenty of shops and restaurants, a few historic buildings and a marine mammal interpretation centre.This hike offers several viewpoints, including one where we were lucky enough to see a whale up close.

Nature trail between Lac de l'Anse à l'Eau and Anse à la Barque (cove on the Saguenay River) on the hill of Anse à la Barque. Start by following the Sentier le Fjord trail, then turn off to climb to the top of the hill. There are some beautiful panoramic views there.

A short hike in the Boisé de la Falaise, on the rocky plateau of the Manicouagan. The trail runs along the St. Lawrence River and offers an idyllic beach, while remaining on the trails. If you have an hour to spare during the day, this is the place to go.

This hike takes you around Baie des Escoumins from Pointe de la Croix to the small cove of Cran Noir, passing by Anse à Jos-Ross. The return route is via the Essipit neighbourhood.

This hike runs along the foot of Mont Ti Basse and some of its trails. Mont Ti Basse is a ski resort. This route is, of course, best done when there is no snow. The hike begins with the discovery of a sandy plain, which is unexpected in the middle of a forest.

Follow the Saint Lawrence River in Parc des Rapides, aptly named as the river is particularly turbulent in this section. A permanent wave even allows you to surf: the Vague à Guy. The return journey takes you through a rather affluent neighbourhood with wide, quiet streets.

Near Lake Saint Jean, this is an easy round trip along the Ashuapmushuan River, offering different views of the rapids. The trail is dotted with information panels on the history, fauna and flora of the area. At the end of the trail, you will discover some magnificent, typically North American villas.

Moulin à Baude: viewpoints, estuary, beach, and above all, a huge dune that could be called "the Dune du Pilat of the Saint-Laurent". You wouldn't expect to find such a large amount of sand on the banks of a river. You can also discover gneiss, a metamorphic rock consisting of alternating light and dark bands found at the water's edge.

Visit the Baie Saint-Pancrace viewpoint, a hike with several magnificent, even impressive panoramic views. You head into the forest to descend to the bay, facing the waterfall formed by the Ruisseau Saint-Pancrace.
