Departure from the car park of the Maison du Parc Régional des Grandes-Rivières du Lac Saint-Jean, 400 Bd des Pères, Dolbeau-Mistassini.
(S/E) Behind the Maison du Parc, take the Sentier le Trappiste trail, cross the Véloroute des Bleuets, and arrive at the Le Portage fork.
(1) Then turn right onto the Sentier le Portage trail, then quickly turn right onto the Sentier le Grand Pic trail. Follow it through the woods to the next intersection, L'Amélanche.
(2) Turn right onto Sentier l'Amélanche. Follow it, leaving Sentier l'Abbaye on your right, and continue to the next fork, Le Portage.
(3) Turn left onto Sentier le Portage. This trail runs along the Mistassibi River. Continue along the river, passing Sentier le Grand Pic on your left, and return to the Le Trappiste fork.
(1) Follow the trail on the right and take Sentier le Trappiste. Follow this winding path to the La Mistassibi fork.
(4) Take Sentier la Mistassibi on the right. It forms a circular loop and returns to Sentier le Trappiste, which you take by turning right.
(5) At the Le Village fork, turn right onto Sentier le Village and continue to the Halte Municipale Dolbeau-Mistassin.
(6) Turn left onto Sentier le Trappiste behind the building. Continue along this trail, which will take you back to the Maison du Parc (S/E).
