A day of discovery of the Wendat Indigenous people, this hike crosses Wendake, where this community lives, and then takes you to Kabir Kouba Falls for a round trip on the same path that runs along the Saint-Charles River.

Notes

Departure from the car park of the Huron Onhoüa Chetek Traditional Site, 8th Street Chef Stanislas Koska, Quebec City. A visit to this site is very informative and well done. It only operates as a guided tour, so I recommend booking in advance online.

As this is First Nations territory, signs (street names, among other things) are written in French and the Wendat language.

Given the proximity of the water and its vaporisation from the Kabir Kouba waterfall, ice can form in winter, so do not do this part in winter.

Worth a visit
