Park at the Belvédère de la Baie Saint-Pancrace on Route 138 towards Franquelin (about 16 km from Baie-Comeau).
(S/E) From the car park at the bottom of the wooden stairs, climb up to two successive viewing platforms overlooking the bay.
(1) From the lookout, continue west on the forest trail to a three-way junction.
(2) Take the small path on the left between two bushes and follow it. You will then come to some tricky sections where you will need to use ropes to descend: two small ropes in succession.
(3) You will arrive at panoramic views of the bay and river from a rocky plateau overlooking the forest, following the path with magnificent views. Continue to a crossroads.
(4) Go straight ahead, following the small wooden sign indicating the descent. Then turn right downhill. Next, take the path on the left. On the left, a rock overlooks the trail. Continue downhill, following the few red flags or, more reliably, the GPS on your app. You will arrive at Anse Saint-Pancrace and its waterfall.
(5) All that remains is to turn back and return to the car park. After walking along the rock, continue straight ahead to reach a long rope that helps you climb back up.
(4) Then retrace your steps to the viewpoint car park (S/E).
