The Old Postman’s Trail in Val d’Allos-le-Village
A lush, wooded route passing through varied landscapes; pleasant with beautiful scenery, quiet and shaded, suitable for all seasons – on snowshoes in winter, on foot or by mountain bike the rest of the year.It allows you to follow the route taken by a postman until 1950, when the mountains were more densely populated, postmen used to visit every house, and there were no tracks, and to discover three magnificent sites of historic mountain settlements: the Brec d’Allos, the Bois de Vacheresse and the Ancienne Ferme des Bois, and finally the hamlet of Bouchier.
