Seilhac walks

The walk soon joins the old route of the “Paris-Orléans-Corrèze” railway line, which runs between the hamlet and the Bussières mill. It runs partly alongside the Brézou stream and several ponds. On the outskirts of the Étang Neuf at Seilhac, the walk returns via wide paths.

A walk through woods and lovely views over wide meadows, crossing the Céronne river time and again There are no signposts, but there are numerous small posts along the route indicating directions (localities and hamlets), installed by the “Chandareurs”, the Navaroise walking and mountain biking association.

This route from Lagraulière features long stretches through the Blanchefort Forest and crosses the Brézou stream several times.

A short walk near Chanteix where you can admire a pretty waterfall and its stream, the Maumont Blanc. An ideal spot for a picnic at the end of the walk. The hike is easy, with only 400 metres of road.

Just 20 minutes from Malemort-sur-Corrèze, this shaded walk with very little tarmac allows you to discover the large Étang de Lachamp lake and the forests surrounding Favars. A pleasant walk in hot weather. This hike takes 2½ hours.

A beautiful outing in the Monédières, starting with the ascent of the knoll at May (900m) and the descent into the Puy de Chauzeix forest, leading to the Étang de Ganezande.

The Montane river plunges into the ravine in three successive waterfalls, and there is a village with a medieval character. This route around this beautiful, steep-sided valley also allows you to discover the ruins of the church of Saint-Étienne-de-Braguse, the site of La Gour with its fourth waterfall and the ruins of the mill. The hike continues towards the waterfalls and the old toll bridge. This route does not go directly to the three waterfalls, which require a fee to access!

A family walk that allows you to admire the magnificent Gimel waterfalls from afar, visit the Saint-Étienne de Braguse Chapel, abandoned in the middle of the woods, and visit the village of Gimel and its church.

A pleasant hike leading to the summit of Knoll Mary, which overlooks the Freysselines cirque and the Ganezande Pond. At the summit, equipped with an orientation table, there are beautiful views of the surrounding area.

The route first climbs towards Puy Chammard on a quiet road with clear views of Uzerche. After that, it mainly follows paths to make a large circular route around Espartignac, crossing the Troh stream several times. This part offers clear views towards Les Monédières. The route ends along the Vézère river.

A magnificent walk overlooking the Vézère river, following the route of the old "Paris Orléans Corrèze" railway line on the way there, returning on the other bank along the Vézère and crossing the old town of Uzerche.

A beautiful hike on quiet paths and roads. The hike is very well marked in yellow from the church in Perpezac-le-Noir.

This hike will take you to the ruins of two old mills dating from the 18th century, built on the Brezou stream. You can see old millstones, dykes, a supply channel and the ruins of the Moulin de la Forêt building with the water inlets under the mill.

A route starting from Sadroc, mainly following quiet country lanes. A very sunny route.

The route is marked in yellow from Sainte-Féréole. It follows paths and small roads with little traffic.

Starting from the charming Romanesque church in Veix, this is a pleasant circular forest route dotted with green pastures and beautiful old houses.

A lovely walk, partly through woodland and partly in sunny open country. Very little road walking. Please note that the route does not pass through the Travassac slate quarry, which is a paid attraction.
