The former Paraclet Abbey, the village of Quincey and its mill
A relatively easy walk, starting from the former Abbey of Le Paraclet in Saint-Aubin (Aube), passing through the small village of Quincey where, after seeing the old mill on the River Ardusson, you enter the village and head towards the church, leaving the restored washhouse on your left.
Retrace your steps back to Rue du Mazot, then head up to the right towards the hills, where you’ll enjoy views of the power station, the village and the abbey.
Discovering Trois Saints from Vallant-Saint-Georges
A pleasant walk along the “Discovering the Three Saints” route: Vallant-Saint-Georges, Droupt-Sainte-Marie and Droupt-Saint-Balse. The route allows you to discover the rich cultural, wildlife and plant heritage of this area. A very flat route along the Haute Seine Canal, the River Seine and the ponds, including the Brun.
The Lunay Bridge
Through woods and fields to discover the Lunay Bridge from Léchelle.
Villiers-sur-Seine circular
A route favouring small country roads, particularly during the hunting season. The route crosses the bridges over the Seine, the canal, and through the villages of Hermé, Port Montain and Noyen-sur-Seine, with its castle dating from 1553.
No particular difficulties, and water points are available in the villages.
Around the Orvin
A gentle, almost flat circular route through the plain bathed by the Orvin, a small river which flows into the Seine. The farm tracks you’ll follow wind through this vast plain, taking you to the banks of the Seine at Athis and then along the Orvin.
The walk around the Perthe State Forest
The Perthe State Forest, a Natura 2000 site, is a former airfield destroyed by Allied forces towards the end of 1944. Now in ruins, the site was transferred to the State Forest Service.
The Méances Stream Valley
Starting from the charming village of Chalautre-la-Petite, this is a short hike through fields and woods on both banks of the Ruisseau des Méances stream.

Medieval churches of the Brie region – The Priory Church of Voulton
A short walk through the fields and along the Ru de Barcq, before or after taking a moment to admire a 12th–13th-century church (and popping in for a visit when it’s open).
The coat-of-arms-adorned boundary stones of the Vauluisant Forest
In this forest, the boundary markers bear the coats of arms of three lords: Cardinal Louis de Bourbon-Vendôme, the Briçonnet-Raguier couple and the de Belleville brothers. These boundary markers must have been set in the ground around 1550, following disputes over the respective boundaries of their estates.
Medieval walk in Provins
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the medieval walls of Provins are worth a visit in their own right! This urban walk, enhanced by waterways, allows you to discover the town's main sites and monuments: ramparts, Romanesque church and Gothic collegiate church, former convent, and the famous César Tower.
The route was designed by the Pays du Provinois Community of Communes and marked by the FFRP.
Loop east of Provins via Sourdun and the Château de l'Ormurion
A hike mainly through fields with a few passages through woods. There is some beautiful heritage in Sourdun (church, castle) and the route offers some beautiful views, albeit distant, of the Collegiate Church of Saint-Quiriace and the César Tower in Provins.
