Circular the King of Chauzes via La Croix du Rat

During this hike, you can see the throne of the King of the Chauzes, which, together with the Rey des Chauzes, forms the ancient winter solstice observatory: explanation on site. You can also see the Cluzeau de Borie Belet and Merovingian sarcophagi.

Ancient loop of Paussac Saint-Juste
Some points of interest in the village: you will pass the Tour Pigeonnier, the Pierre à Sacrifice or Peyre d'Ermale or Dermale. Further on, there is a climbing site and a troglodytic village dating from the 12th-13th centuries. Don't miss the Peyrelevade dolmen, dating from the Neolithic period and listed as a Historic Monument since 1960, and the sculptures visible on the gate of a quarry.
Beauzens loop from Ajat
A beautiful hike covering many kilometres but with little elevation gain. Pleasant paths between low walls and woods, especially after the hamlet of Beauzens. Interesting village, churches, castle, hamlet of Beauzens, stele.
Discovering the ponds of the Double Forest

Loop via Eypinal from Saint-Sulpice-de-Roumagnac
A short loop to explore the surroundings of the village of Saint-Sulpice-de-Roumagnac, 8 km from Riberac, with virtually no roads. Peaceful, with little chance of meeting anyone. Good footwear is essential. Walking poles are a bonus.
Barade National Forest Loop
A long, peaceful hike in the Barade National Forest (barradaen occitan: closed): calm, wind in the branches, birdsong... It mainly follows firebreaks, with few roads. Moderate elevation gain.
Circular on the heights of Saint-Louis-en-Isle
A lovely walk in the forest. Well shaded, ideal for walks on sunny days. The path is very easy to follow. This route has a slight elevation gain with gentle ascents and descents, making it ideal for a Sunday outing with the family. We completed the route in 1 hour and 15 minutes with a group of adults walking at a leisurely pace.
Chemin des Lébérous
The hike allows you to discover two ancient villages now united under the name of Saint-Georges-de-Montclard.
The village of Montclard is dominated by the 11th-century castle, of which the remains of the tower can still be seen. The village of Saint-Georges is home to an 11th-century church and Sainte Rita. The walk takes you through the forest in a hilly area with a few steep slopes requiring a minimum level of fitness.

This circular mainly takes you around the pretty village of Le Bugue, in the heart of the Vézère valley in the Périgord Noir. You will take paths to reach the entrance to Campagne and return to Le Bugue using part of the "La Vézère à vélo" greenway, which runs alongside the river.

We love this circular for its rolling hills and peaceful roads! Between Saint-Avit-de-Vialard and Journiac, the route alternates between climbs and shaded sections, perfect for an outing where pleasure and effort go hand in hand.
Circular via Le Bugue and Saint-Cirq
This challenging (red) circular mainly explores Le Bugue, a village in the Vézère Valley, in the heart of the Périgord Noir region of the Dordogne. The route passes close to prehistoric sites, such as the Ferrassie prehistoric site and the Sorcier Cave (closed to the public).

This hike takes you up to a higher elevation with a beautiful view of the Vézère River, and also allows you to discover two sites:
- La Roque Saint-Christophe, troglodyte dwellings in a limestone cliff one kilometre long and sixty metres high,
- and the village of Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, listed as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France.
Boucle de Gorge d'Enfer
C'est l'une des plus belles randonnées à faire autour des Eyzies-de-Tayac. Elle permet de profiter de la fraîcheur des sous-bois et offre une vue étonnante sur les falaises des Eyzies.
Boucle de la Mouthe
Une promenade au milieu des buis et des chênes verts au dessus du village des Eyzies. Cette petite boucle ombragée autour des Eyzies de Tayac peut être facilement parcourue en famille. Un sentier boisé escarpé rejoint le charmant hameau de la Mouthe, qui renferme la grotte du même nom (inaccessible à la visite).
