The Souleuvre valley as seen from Bény-Bocage
A walk with a fair bit of elevation gain offering superb views over the Souleuvre valley. Wooded hills, forest and lovely open plains. You won’t come across many people, but you will see cows and sheep.
The Beny-Bocage circular route via the Souleuvre Viaduct
A pleasant, shaded path with little foot traffic. Ideal for families, with a lovely break at the Souleuvre Viaduct site. Large picnic area with toilets, children’s play equipment, a sensory garden and bar-restaurants.
The Tortillon Valley
This short, family-friendly route takes you along the Tortillon valley from the town of Vassy in Calvados.

Mont Pinçon in Le Plessis-Grimoult

Meeting the Fairies of the Baligot Rocks
The Fairies of the Baligot Rocks still have their legend, which has never ceased to be popular in Proussy. They lived in the Fairy’s Hole, on the side of a high rocky escarpment that rises at the edge of the Druance, on the road from Condé to Pontécoulant.
The Mont de Cerisy nature trail
A short, mainly woodland walk that can be undertaken with very young children. The route is mainly through woodland, with several fine trees that catch the eye. The top of the castle tower (accessible) and a viewing point offer fine panoramic views of the Normandy countryside.
