Around Clairefougère

Start at the church.

(S/E) Walk past the church on your left, follow the signs for "Porte Blaise", turn left and cross the Diane. You will come out onto a road.

(1) Follow it to the left, passing under the Paris-Granville railway line, then cross and walk alongside the Jouvine. Cross a road and continue straight ahead.

(2) Halfway up the hill, before the village of L'Aubinière, take a path on the left heading east. Continue until you reach a path on the left.

(3) Follow it and descend towards the river and the hamlet of Le Moulin, cross the Diane and the railway line again. You will arrive at a crossroads.

(4) Take it towards the north-east, turning right as you leave the path, and follow the road through the village towards Lambone.

(5) Just after the village and its pretty manor house, turn left onto a path climbing towards the wind turbines. Turn left at the hairpin bend and head back down towards the Sainte Radegonde Chapel.

(6) Continue straight ahead and return to the car park near the church (S/E).
