Notes

A good pair of trainers is all you need for these very short city routes.

Drinking fountains and toilets are available in every cemetery.

Please remember that a cemetery is a place of contemplation and that discreet and respectful behaviour is required.

Worth a visit

See the information sheet for each of the routes.

The title of this collection is a nod to a song by Georges Brassens, released in 1961, *La Ballade des cimetières*. This illustrates that, when referring to a walk, the word ‘balade’ takes only one ‘l’, whereas with two, it refers to a song.

Always be cautious and plan ahead when you're outdoors. Visorando and the author of this route cannot be held responsible for any accidents occurring on this route.
