An easy walk to discover the peaceful countryside of the Bresse Bourguignonne. The route passes through farmland, a beautiful lake, meadows and woods, finally following a small river. Here and there are scattered Bresse farms, some still in operation.PR®® (yellow) signposts all along the route.

This circular route takes you through several small villages around Nanc-lès-Saint-Amour and offers several beautiful panoramic views.

A very pleasant walk, with some sections where caution is required. It initially runs alongside the Besançon river. (This walk is not recommended during periods of high water). Along the route, you will discover an old spinning mill, a waterfall, two viewpoints, the ruins of the Château de l'Aubépin, a chapel and old wash houses. The route is well shaded and can be enjoyed in summer without any problems.

Mont Myon from Pressiat, then a pretty circular through the forest to reach the Chapelle de Montfort.

This is an easy walk with little elevation gain, featuring fountains and six wash houses along the route. Walk on tarmac roads and dirt tracks.

Starting from the picturesque medieval village of Treffort, I suggest a lovely route through Revermont, taking in a few viewpoints along the way. The main difficulty is the length of the route: see the Practical Information section.

A pleasant little walk in the Bois de Teyssonge to reach the Étang des Benonnières.

Hike through the heart of the village of Sancé and its surrounding countryside to discover the three castles in the commune: Château du Parc (private), Château de Châtenay (private) and Château Lapalus (communal property).

A lovely route that will take you to discover the various fountains of Ceyzeriat, as well as its wash house and, of course, its beautiful waterfall with its streams.

I suggest you take a circular route in the Drom valley area, which is unusual in that it has no surface watercourses. After passing through the villages of Ramasse and Drom, the route climbs to a few hills, notably around the Chapelle de Notre-Dame des Conches, offering some lovely views.

A beautiful walk in the hills above Journans, accessible to all via roads or good paths.

A beautiful loop passing through a small, easy, unobstructed peak offering a wide panorama of the Bugey, the Bresse plain, the Beaujolais mountains and the Lyon region. The springs of the Reyssouze reward us at the end of the hike.

This bucolic hike will take you from hamlet to hamlet around the village of Saint-Étienne-sur-Chalaronne.

Short loop passing through the Hautecourt Cave Nature Reserve. Hike with no technical difficulty, alternating between woodland and open spaces. The climb up to the Mont Rosset plateau is a little steep, watch out for cows, but you'll be rewarded at the end. Please note that the cave itself is not open to visitors, even though it was France's first underground nature reserve in 1980. Don't be disappointed, though, as there are a dozen information panels on the surface explaining the cave's biodiversity and its exploration in the past. Circular forest loop in the Tournugeois region, on either side of a discreet little valley connecting the hamlets of Corlay to the village of Montceaux-Ragny. Halfway along, you can temporarily leave your hiking boots and accessories behind to show off your talents: singing, dancing, reciting, etc. You will find a stage and bleachers in the middle of nature.
